80% of the porters I've had are shit. Too be good they gotta actually be good and not meh. This one is one of the few I'd drink. Bad/average porters are trash.

My wife actually enjoys porters, and I have a couple friends that do. I like dark ales but I just can’t get down with porters. Or at least I haven’t found one I liked, and I won’t buy one to try it myself. So I’ll have to stumble across a good one by accident someday

 

It’s part of the reason I traded back from 4. I love what Akers can do.

 

I'm OK with it, I'll have to shelve him for a year but....

I was content to stay at 4 because I thought he'd be there. But I thought the Top 2 guys were worth moving up for. Only time will tell.
