I laughed my ass off when the pundits had them going to the playoffs. They added a bunch of talented prima donnas. Football doesn’t work that way. Good show tonight.
Odell and Jarvis came across looking extremely stupid on the post game show regarding the incident until they actually saw video evidence of what happened. Then their tune changed to that of disgust which I do applaud.
My guess (and hope) is Myles Garrett will be suspended for the rest of the season. And rightfully so. There is absolutely no reason that can excuse that type of behavior. None. His behavior stole the joy of winning this game from ALL Browns fans. Period.
Crazy. We all deserve a second chance. I hope this is an isolated incident. I love the Pouncey brothers.
What is the point of this thread? What other reason than to get a rise out of another fanbase? Is it really necessary?
While I don't agree with the title of this thread the Browns really were out of control Thurs night. Don't think I've ever seen a scenario where three different guys could have been flagged for head-hunting on the same play. I'll be interested in seeing how many fines come out of this game next Friday.
And now... to add to the scumbag factor, Garrett claims that Rudolph hurled a racial insult at him. Never mentioned it post-game, not in the days following, but just yesterday during his appeal - almost a week later - he decides to throw out this obvious lie in a pathetic attempt to mitigate the suspension. What a piece of human garbage. Myles is trash, Brows are trash.
I mentioned this in another thread on the Browns board but thought I would share here as well. In an effort to address something said about Garrett's post-game press conference I went back and watched it again. First time I had done so since that night and since all of these other things have come out. I would encourage any reasonable, open-minded person to do the same thing. Words matter certainly but more importantly is Myles' body language. This is 15-20 minutes after he was supposedly racially slurred and this is a guy with total remorse, zero animosity towards anyone. A guy that knows unequivocally he just phuqued himself. Even takes time to thank DeCastro for understanding the gravity of the situation in which two guys "just got chippy". This is not a guy who has just suffered a racial injustice. http://www.nfl.com/videos/tnf-post-...s-to-ejection-I-made-a-mistake-I-lost-my-cool
