In week 10, the Steelers defeated the Rams at Heinz Field. Now the Steelers travel to FirstEnergy Stadium to play the Browns. For the Steelers to win: The Steelers need to play a complete game (Offense, Defense, Special Teams for 60 min.). The Steelers defense needs to pressure Baker Mayfield. The Steelers defense needs to contain Nick Chubb. The Steelers need to run the ball effectively. Mason Rudolph needs to start faster and play well. The Steelers need to score TDs when in the red zone (and when not). The Steelers need to protect the ball. They need to win the turnover battle. Alejandro Villanueva, Ramon Foster, Maurkice Pouncey, David DeCastro, and Matt Feiler need to play well as a unit. From Steelers Depot: Steelers Versus Browns Week 11 Projected Inactive List (Not available at this time) "The Pittsburgh Steelers have now released what should be their final injury report of Week 11 ahead of the team’s Thursday night road game against the Cleveland Browns and the Wednesday injury report shows three players officially ruled out for that contest with two others listed as questionable. After failing to practice during the short the Steelers listed wide receiver Ryan Switzer (back), fullback Roosevelt Nix (knee) and running back Benny Snell Jr. (knee) as out for the Thursday night game against the Browns." "Ending the week listed as questionable on the Steelers Wednesday report are outside linebacker Anthony Chickillo (rib) and cornerback Joe Haden (illness). Chickillo was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday while Haden, a new addition to the injury report, missed practice with an illness. " "Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Steelers were center Maurkice Pouncey (not injury related), guard Ramon Foster (concussion), outside linebacker Olasunkanmi Adeniyi (hip) and running back James Conner (shoulder) and none of the four players were given game status designations to close out the short week. That means all four should be good to go Thursday night against the Browns."
Keys to the game: Arthur Moats: Intercept Baker Mayfield Tunch Ilkin: Stop The Run Missi Matthews: Suppot Mason Rudolph
The Steelers D has 26 turnovers and 33 sacks. They only had 15 turnovers all of last year. This is a ball hawking D that brings pressure. Gotta do the same tonight and they can win. They struggled vs Gurley but the Rams stopped using him. They'll have to stop the 1-2 punch of Chubb and Hunt. Put the Browns in long yardage and go after Mayfield. 6-4? I hope.
I would feel a lot better about a win if this game was on Sunday. History states there is a massive advantage for the home team playing on TNF. on offense they’ve committed a TO 18 games in a row, can we please finally see a game without the offense having a fumble or INT. on defense if they can’t stop the run they may get torched tonight. In summary, if the offense has a clean game and the defense can stop the run they “should” win.

Wow. This is excruciating to watch. I know the O is somewhat inept but wow. Oh well. A four game win streak was nice.
Browns are avoiding turnovers and other mental mistakes. The Steelers have also given up a few 3rd and longs. Browns aren't done yet this year
myles garrett should be suspended the rest of the year at least and he should be arrested on the spot by the police. What an absolute piece of shit. pouncey deserves a 1-2 game suspension as well for his thuggery, but what garrett did literally could have killed Rudolph. Not to mention Rudolph having that huge concussion a few weeks ago.
Would you expect a different reaction from Yanda or anyone else on the Ravens Oline if someone had done that to Lamar?
Nope, I wouldn't at all which is why I'm saying only a 1-2 game suspension. He definitely deserves to be suspended for what he did even if I understand the reasoning. Rudolph could have died. I have no sympathy for the punishment that comes down on garrett.
I understand as well... reason why I took issue with you using the word thuggery. What Garrett did was thuggery. What Pouncey did was stupid. I was yelling at the screen when I saw him kicking but I don’t consider it thuggery.
Kicking and punching someone in the head on the ground, I just don't know any better word to use than that. If you've got one, I'll happily edit my post above. Regardless, our discussion on words aside, the true bad guy in garrett shouldn't be forgotten.
Alejandro Villanueva on the OL swarming Myles Garrett after attacking Mason Rudolph. "We have to protect our quarterback at all costs." Then again he was an army vet. I’m sure he’s done somethings you might consider thuggery.
