That last INT probably did them in . Fans throwing shit I hope they hit the fucking refs in the face and while your at it hit Fat Freddy and our midget QB . cant hurt anything . ZERO Discipline with this team . n later fellas I got better things to do than watch this shit show
re: Casper Rule. Inside of 2 minutes you can't fumble a ball forward and recover it by anyone other than the player that fumbled the ball. Goober should have never challenged that call.
Still a bullshit rule. If he fumbles at 2min1sec it's a TD. Should make it so that only the guy who knocked the ball loose can touch it too. Maybe make it a 2 out of 3 pin wrestling match to decide who wins possession. Maybe draw a few new fans from the WWE.
Not sure how many times they just threw this game away all by their own selves due to turnovers and lousy stupid penalties. Absolutely awful. This team is really turning into a Jekyll and Hyde with their performances. And unfortunately it's Jekyll:2 / Hyde:4 Edit: Forgot to mention 4 turnovers (3 INT's) and a blocked punt and a missed PAT. (***Sigh***)
Four turnovers and a blocked punt against a one-loss Super Bowl favorite quarterbacked by the MVP front-runner and they lose by four in the single-worst one-way officiated game I've personally ever witnessed. Browns are 2-4 through first six weeks having faced the sixth-toughest strength-of-schedule (0.588) thus far in the NFL. Browns will win 10-straight coming out of the BYE and finish 12-4. Let's press pause on all the "phuqing" and "phiring Phreddie" talk.
Gotta love your optimism @SAS. I just don't see it unless some big changes occur. I just don't see that happening over the course of 2 weeks with the bye....but hopefully by the end of the season. Always waiting for next year aren't we? As for the awesomely horrendous officiating, unfortunately that can't be fixed. This team will just have to be so much better that no bad calls will have an effect on the outcome of their games.
To the tune of "We Didn't Start the Fire"... Landry's touchdown overturned, another six points we've been spurned. Calling that a 'crack-back block' - seriously? What a crock. Ineligible blocker on the pass, didn't know our linemen were that fast Myles gets another sack, but phantom offsides takes if back. Even if he'd dragged his feet, third-and-seven to Metcalf incomplete OBJ, held all day, what else do I have to say? All these refs should be fired 'Cause they stole a win Away from this team again. All these refs should be fired The dispute is over, No team's been more screwed over.
No lie... by the end of the season I can write one using all the crap calls against the Browns and make this thing about 6x longer than the original song. Edit: Plus "trouble in the Suez" turns into "always trying to screw us" so well...
https://www.totalprosports.com/2019...t-was-perfectly-legal-by-jarvis-landry-video/ some things never change. what the hell were the refs looking at?
https://brownswire.usatoday.com/2019/10/14/stats-show-baker-mayfield-is-the-most-unlucky-qb-on-ints/ As browns fans, how can we be even slightly surprised by this? smh.
Refs aside, part of the reason we are seeing a struggling offense: Piggy-backing off @TopDawg's post, though... here's the unlucky part of those 11 INTs:
I agree with Freddie's assessment that the Cleveland Browns are a group of football players that have yet to become a team. Is anyone really afraid of the Ravens? They have W's over Miami, Cinci, Pitt, and Arizona....Our schedule has been a muther ------- up to this point. Other than that unforgiveable loss to Tennessee, this team is about where I figured they'd be at the bye. The Browns have been sloppy, and good teams take advantage of that. No doubt in my mind that the Browns are capable of beating New England after the bye, though I understand it'll be considered highly unlikely. We need three of our next four. That'll put us at 5-5 heading into the homestretch, and I expect this talented group to become a team, and be exactly there. Browns fans have PLENTY of reasons to remain optimistic in my opinion. It has started ugly, but I'm confident they will get it together and be in this AFCN battle to the end.
400+ yards of offense yesterday, but we countered it with 4 turnovers Aggravating as that is, these things are correctable. I enjoyed watching us go toe to toe with, what I believe is one of the best team's in football, in the Seattle Seahawks. We just made one too many mistakes, and Wilson put us away. Who know's what might have happened had we not been the victim of one of the most absurd "crackback block" call's I've ever seen in my life.....Smh. It's over, and that's that. We got two weeks to prep for the Pats. Things will all spin back to positive around here in a hurry if we can get a big W in Foxborough.
