All help would be greatly appreciated. Good point Gidion looking at the ticket it says 7:30 start and I'm an hour out of Bourbonnais and I'll need to suck down a pot of coffee before I leave. Oh fuck this won't end well, but I'm up for the challenge.
I've seen some good stuff coming out of camp, so far. I'm stoked for this season to get started. Priority 1: Mitch's progression Priority 2: Continuity under Pagano Priority 3: Health, obviously With those three things, this team will be well poised to get started.
Speaking of Mitch.... I don't much believe the reports from Bears social media sites; does anyone know how his progression is going? As much as I love laughing about the shit show at the K position, if Mitch makes the next step we won't have to be in that position to begin with. How is he looking?
Where the fuck is everyone? Where's the insight and analysis from TC? I noticed my reddit feed started picking up and all the kool aid being drunk over there (superfans level) made me long for some actual discussion. My Bears memory has completely forgotten the first game of the year last year, the last game of the year, and am brimming over with overconfidence in this team and those meatballs aren't helping at all. Like Ev, I am waiting for that first game of the year so badly. That sets the tone for the entire year right there. National stage, first game of the 100th season, Collinsworth will be fellating Rodgers the entire game so I'd love to instead hear "Khalil Mack" 1000 times. We need to set the tone for the division, against our arch-rivals. I feel like the entire season is going to hinge on how we do in that game. I'm even pumped for preseason game 1, which is ONE FUCKING WEEK AWAY PEOPLE. Goddamn it. Get excited! Though I still have to figure out how I'm going to stream it. I know tuna gave me some recommendations I can't find, but I ditched DirecTV and Sunday Ticket so I'll need something of high quality.
Been dealing with a neurological issue. Have only been able to read / write in disjointed spurts since Friday-ish. I'm stoked for the season. But it might get here before I can meaningfully contribute again. Fingers crossed. I know one thing - the docs will have to take me to my grave before I miss week 1.
I made it to camp today in spite of going out last night and getting home late got up at 5 O'fucking clock and made my yearly pilgrimage to camp as to not let you guys down as I did last Sunday. Everton will be glad to know Daniels and Whitehair were on the field at the same time and Whitehair did NOT snap the ball once. So Yes it appears that Daniels is the new center and Whitehair is back to his natural guard position. Sam Mustipher it appears is the backup as he always came in when Daniels went out. I also did see Jordan McCray and Marquez Tucker try their luck at the center position. Patterson looked solid and the clamor can begin for the remarkable Tanner Gentry as he made in nice one-handed catch on a ball while reaching back at the sideline. The great Ben Braunecker had a ball thump off his numbers that resonated all the way back to Chicago city proper. So tight end position looks to be in typical Bears form. Overall though the team appears to be poised to get this fucking thing done. I saw solid play on both sides of the ball, and unlike past years the defense was being cheered when they made a play. I saw fewer badly thrown balls by any of the QB's although they weren't always perfect. Montgomery looks solid but I didn't see him flash and he didn't put the ball on the ground.
https://streams4us.com/ https://tpk.direct/ I would do the top link. I got that about 2 months ago and it works great, and it's a dollar cheaper at 7 bucks a month. I always recommend running behind a VPN Troypoint.com also has the links and step by step installation process.
Tuna I love you. Fabulous pictures! @dlinebass5 what do you have going on neurologically? @vvarder it's great to see you back!
Yeah some loaded doubles and the others are just thumbs unless you click them weird but hey they're there.
Nice pics Tuna. Other than the draft I was able to not think about the Bears during the offseason, which was good. Needed a break to recharge for 2019. Not sure I'm fully there yet, camp really snuck up on me this year, and I still have one month of summer to enjoy before football. Not going to put a lot of stock in what happens during camp and preseason, especially around Trubisky's progress. In fact, I'm hoping Nagy really started a trend last year by minimizing the amount of time the starters actually play. The most interesting camp battle seems to be the WR position and some talented guy is going to be left off the final 53. Hope it's not Javon Wims.
Wims was the guy that impressed me the most on Thursday, but tight ends are seriously suspect again. Montgomery could prove to be a serious threat out of the backfield, but so much will depend on how far Mitch can come along.
Speaking of which, my apologies if this has been covered in the past, but does anyone else have a lot of hope but not much faith that Mitch will ever reach his hype? I see the guy has a Kyle Orton 2.0 with not much ability to surpass that. I think he is serviceable, don't get me wrong. But a franchise QB? I just don't see it.
We can make excuses all day long like he didn't have that much college experience blah blah blah, but at the end of the day that hope erodes with each game played. Sure he can every once in a while play a game like the one against the Buc's last season, but he still needs to be more consistent and also more than just a game manager. I haven't lost faith and hope thus far that has been mostly a flat line.
I've seen a lot of tweets about Mitch underthrowing the football a ton in camp. I don't get it. It's not an arm strength issue because he can whip it. It's either a mechanical thing or a timing thing. Needs to be fixed.
