If he comes in over 195 I think it's a non-issue. He will be two years younger than Wilson when he entered the league and I believe Russ was 207 at the combine. 10 pounds of good weight in two years is easily reachable and wouldn't negate his athletic ability.
Jason Witten thinks Cowboys offense takes “big step” under Kellen Moore... Jason Witten never worked with Kellen Moore as a coach, but he did practice with Moore when both of them were still active players with the Cowboys. That experience is enough for Witten to think Moore has “a way about him” that will pay off in his new job as the Cowboys offensive coordinator. Witten said this week that he believes Moore will be innovative and that the offense will take a “big step” by gearing things around quarterback Dak Prescott. “Yeah, I think he will do the things that Dak likes to do,” Witten said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “He will do the things they have to do to win. That is the way they have to play. I think they will use the pass to set up the run. Not just the run to set up the pass. I think he will add some nice wrinkles to that offense.” With head coach Jason Garrett coaching in the final year of his contract, Moore’s work with the offense will have a lot to do with how Dallas does in 2019 and with the path the team charts in the years that follow. If Witten’s correct, that path will probably look a lot like the one they’ve been on for a while. (PFT)
A weak wide receiver market will see a veteran join the ranks. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Thursday morning on Good Morning Football that the San Francisco 49ers will not pick up the contract option on receiver Pierre Garcon. The move doesn't come as a major surprise as the 32-year-old struggled to stay healthy. In two seasons in San Francisco, Garcon played just 16 total games. He missed eight tilts in 2018 due to shoulder and knee issues before ultimately landing on injured reserve to end the season. It's the second straight year his campaign ended on IR. The decision to not pick up the option was production-based not financial, as the 49ers will be hit with $7.2 million in dead money while saving just $1.075 million on the salary cap. When healthy, Garcon displayed he can still be a reliable outside target who can separate from defensive backs with good route-running and body positioning. Garafolo notes that, turning 33 in August, Garcon plans to continue his career.
Cardinals listed as favorites to land Antonio Brown... Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson has been making eyes at Antonio Brown, the wide receiver the Steelers are expected to trade soon. The oddsmakers have noticed. When one sports books put odds on the team Brown will play for in Week One, the Cardinals were first, at +450 odds. Other teams listed as potential Brown landing spots were the 49ers and Dolphins at +550, Packers and Colts at +700 and Raiders at +900. The odds of the Steelers keeping Brown are at +500. (PFT)
The second play was a designed run. Shepard found himself with no one to block and nothing but green behind him so he took a chance and Beckham had no where to go and looked up and there he was... The Giants offense struggled a lot with Eli at the helm and at times Shurmer dug deep to find something to spark a damn TD. Not surprisingly Beckham was where he looked...

Dan Snyder’s (Washington Perjoratives) people just reached out to me (via Sotheby’s) requesting me to send some people over to pack up his Monet ($1.7M - surprised a Monet is that cheap, probably a shitty still life or something). He actually wanted me to organize the shipment (to DC) by the end of this week too. Shot that part down. Too busy. Not happening. I will send a 2-person crew to Sotheby’s to pack it up for him though.
Synder seems like the kind of guy who sues you for trying to switch it even if you didn't. Everyone here in DC hates his guts.
