I didn't watch the whole game, fighting a bad cold virus, so I nodded out after it was 3-0.
I was fine if they traded him for a quality d-man. He doesn't shoot enough and when he does, he doesn't put anything on it like matthews.
He's a good presence and dominates 5 on 5, but he needs to play with a top goal scorer to produce. I can't see him ever becoming a top goal scorer, I'd be surprised if he ever got over 30 goals in a season.
The analytic geeks were building a case for over $7M and you can't tell them anything because if you don't fully understand corsi then you don't know what you're talking about.
I'd like to see him dealt for some quality D, but apparently Dubas has promised him that he won't be traded.

Mckenzie played three seasons for the new england whalers and scored 57 goals, basicaly less than 20 goals a season. The whalers unretired the number, dougie wears the number, so the team has already allowed it. Mckenzie was really a bruin, his best years were with boston, maybe edwards should push for his team to retire #19, MASS____!
