2007 it was. That was the closest Joe Thomas ever got to the playoffs. Truth be known, the Colts tanking that game STILL sticks in my craw to this day.

Total tank job. They trotter Curtis Painter out there against a division rival.

SAS.........the Colts had already Clinched the Division.....why play Manning ....and the Colts won the Super Bowl that year and Manning MVP.

Honestly, a win in Denver would slay a lot of demons for me. I can't stand the thought of Elway grinning at everyone Saturday night.

A late 4th quarter drive to steal a win would be sweet justice, but I'll take a blow out too.

Browns win out, Steelers lose out and Ravens lose 1 other game and the Browns win the AFC North. Very possible now. Browns expected to be alive for the division heading into week 17 as only the Ravens this week are expected to go against what the Browns want, but the Ravens can win 1 game still.

Sorry Brownies. You need a ton of things to go right next week and a tie in week 17. But next year is your year to make some real noise.

That's okay. It was fun for a change not talking about the draft while eating Thanksgiving leftovers.

We're not officially out of it yet......so we can still talk playoffs then, right??????

That and a 4 game win streak and 6 of our last 7 to end the season. Should be enough to get Greggggggg and Kitchens permanent jobs at DC and OC for us.

The Football Gods rained on our playoff hopes, big time yesterday TD. Every one of the games you laid out went the wrong way, for the Browns.

OK, God, we really need you this week.
Bal, Indy, & Ten, have to lose, or they hit 9 wins and we're out. Bal vs LAC (loss probable), Indy vs NYG ( loss not likely ), Tenn vs Wash ( loss not likely ), thus the need for the football Gods to open the door.

I'd love to go to Baltimore with a shot. Frankly even if we don't I'll go for a shot right here at home, to celebrate a season of actual NFL football in Cleveland.

I want to see the Browns truly "take care of business" this week, with no question, and then go to Baltimore to prove they are the team to beat in the NFC North, going in to next year. They have set so many milestones this year: a winning record at home, winning on the road, back to back wins, come from beind wins, coaching changes, etc......

Put up a couple more W's and we have our first winning record since DA, and it's for real, this time.

    Go Browns!

Cowboys and Giants combined for ZERO! Thanks fellas. nice work...

No worries. Next year I have complete confidence that Baker will have us in position where WE control it, and don't have to count on anybody....

On the bright side, my employee who is a big Cowboys fan all of a sudden doesn't want to talk football anymore.
