I'm still confused why an off sides penalty negated the make on that PAT... Why couldn't we simply decline it, like any other off sides play? Was there contact before the snap?
Because they were quick to whistle it dead, I believe...You can hear the refs blowing the whistle just before the snap. It still seems messed up. The kick went through. We should have had the option to decline....Refs and their quick whistles have killed the Browns this year.
honestly, I was too drunk to hear the whistles by that point... lol, we had a Browns watch party, of which I did a little more partying than I planned.
I was so pissed. I checked the guide listing for Fox before the early games and it showed that they were not airing an early game in my market, so I watched the Texans. When the Texans were over I flipped it to Fox because the late game was supposed to be on and I caught the last 20 seconds of the Browns game!!!! I haven't ever yelled so loudly at an inanimate object. Atleast they won!
