I still can't believe we walked away with a win here. We held the rams to no touchdowns for the first time since McVay took over. We won despite Mitch shitting the bed in the most Grossman like way. Kyle Fuller is legit. He’s becoming an actual shut-down corner. And Prince is no slouch himself. We figured this secondary would be above average, but they’ve been fucking awesome as a group. Damn this is fun.
As bad as the offense looked probably the reason the Bears defense was so damn effective is the offense held the ball almost 37 minutes. The defense finally closed out a damn game and even helped the offense score a TD in the process. It was nice to see a nice dose of Howard to help eat that clock. This was that elusive statement game we were all looking for, and we made it, let the fun continue. Go Bears!
The QBs job is to outplay the opposing defense....not the opposing QB. Great win but Trubisky failed hard last night.
