With Joe Flacco being too injured to practice for a second week in a row, the Ravens will be starting rookie QB Lamar Jackson once again. Last week's gameplan of Jackson running 24 times was due to the combination of what Jackson saw on a lot of RPOs, and him missing Thursday's practice with an illness. The practice on Thursday was directly stated to be the practice where the team went over passing concepts.

Oakland does, however, also have a bad run defense statistically, but their pass defense might be worse. This is the perfect two game stretch for a rookie QB to get his first starts.

The biggest question mark today will be the o-line. James Hurst is out for yet game. Will Alex Lewis continue to start at LG or will Eluemenor, who has played well at LT for Ronnie Stanley at times. Either way, the Ravens need to keep winning to hold on to that 6th place spot. Looks like another close playoff race is in store for Baltimore. Let's hope they can actually make it in this year as opposed to falling short as they have the previous three.

    LET'S GO, RAVENS!!!

I expect to see a lot of Gus Edwards. he & LJ seem to have a good report.

I would like to see Maxx Williams get more looks. He has become the forgotten man in the offense. During those 1st 4 games when H. Hurst was out, he was one of Flacco's favorite targets, and as someone else mentioned, has yet to drop a pass so far this year. He probably has the best/softest hands of all the TE's. It's a shame his injuries and subsequent surgery robbed him of his speed.

Raiders really have nothing to lose. Can't blame them for going for it on 4th

Gotta love that Ravens 4th down defense smh

That will be a TD for Oakland

    That's gonna be overturned.

The Raiders with a whopping 1 legit offensive weapon drive 80+ yards for a TD without even targeting him. Most overrated defense in the league.

To be fair to the defense, they WERE tied for least amount of opening drive points allowed.

But yeah, that is embarrassing to allow the Raiders to do that

Jackson took that sack because he was determined to throw. That's going to be a concern to me

Willie Snead almost completely botched that play running his route into Crabtree

  13. ravens_R_#1 Legend Ravens

Yeah, 2 receivers and 3 defenders in the same spot

  14. ravens_R_#1 Legend Ravens

Not the start I was expecting. They will get it together though

Yep, definitely didn't expect to be trailing after the 1st

Today's defensive game plan: let's hope they drop the ball.

It's a bold game plan Cotton.

Browns up 21 on the Bengals. Ravens need to get it together, this is a prime chance to take hold of that #6 spot with some room for error, if they win

  18. ravens_R_#1 Legend Ravens

Well, there's a well needed TD.

Ray rice from Rutgers rumblin stumblin down the ...oh wait

Andrews needs to stop running in quicksand! 74 yards.

    Penalty
