well that was fast...its a boy! I already started chipping away at her for a name yesterday. I started of with something ridiculous in a serious approach: (verbatim) "Ok honey, now hear me out on this one. How about, just for the baby, his last name is hyphenated (Taylor-Plazek) then we name him Taylor Plazek Taylor-Plazek?" somehow I didn't laugh. I am now pondering a career in sales. I followed it up later with: "Ok hun...how about...if the Browns win the majority of their remaining games AND make the playoffs, we name him Baker Mayfield?" is there a way that I can pre-like this for Sam?
We've only got girls, but no lie... one of the names on the short-list for our first was 'Quinn'. Ultimately didn't go with that because her sister wants that for her girl. I had her at least considering 'Baker' for our youngest (born October 2017), even after we figured out she was a she (May 2017).
Congrats Dogside. Well......congrats to Mrs. Dogside cause you did your part of the "work" in less than a minute.....
Well here we I am with a few extra minutes so I'll catch up with you and check in... First of all. Congratulations dogside If the paperwork isn't finished, How about Baker Myles. Regardless congrats Been on safari the past month or so. No luck yet but I'm being picky. Holy crap a lot has happened in my absence. Browns lose. Chaos ensues... Fight breaks out in the DPL. Beer and Geritol bottles everywhere. Hyde gets traded. Talk about phuqining with my fantasy leagues. Hue gets fired and Haley goes with him. Once again it appears that the Browns are the same as the ever... Then the Browns bounce back and soundly beat a playoff caliber team Perhaps they have begun to turn the corner. I'm hoping that regardless of who the next HC is, that the OC and whomever becomes the QB coach that they stay fresh and innovative utilizing everything Mayfield can offer and beyond. We have a solid foundation. I can only hope that the time to rise up is now. Catch y'all after turkey day. P.S. keep up the good work beach
Honestly, I don't think it would have mattered who Peyton Manning's OC was, HE was the OC on the field. That is what I envision for Baker Mayfield. I think Freddie has been doing well, because frankly, he's called some pretty vanilla stuff that allows Baker to do what he does. I think Haley pretty much told Baker, this is the play call, you better do what ever is in your damn power to get it to the first read, if it absolutely isn't there, then get it to the second read. I think now, Kitchens is telling him, read the defense first and based on THAT your reads might change order pre-snap, which actually allows Baker to have a lot more control over the offense....But, then again, Kitchens doesn't seem to be egotistical in the least. I do recall that being part of the reason Ben and Haley butted heads, Haley refused to give Ben control over anything.
