In under 2.5 hours we will be on pick #2 of the 2018 L4SN Dynasty League draft...maybe more, who knows...
@Tim it seems to not be covered but can PS players be moved to the IR? I only see about not being able to move them to the active roster.
Being that the NFL has an injury designation specifically for the PS and we can sign free agents that are injured directly to the IR, I see no reason to make a rule that states a player must be on the active roster to be placed on IR. So yes, a player on the PS may be moved to the IR following regular injury rules. I'll get a proper right up added to the rules page when I get home.
Well you got it back on me. I was up 55 heading into Sunday night. Ertz and Elliott get 56. I am on my last legs now.
Good game, LAOJoe. I thought you had me and it was extremely close. I didn't realize at first that neither of us had anyone going Monday...
Believe the trade deadline is this week? ANED feels it is not a serious contender in 2018 and is willing to trade anyone. Nobody is untouchable if you're looking for someone you think could put you over the top this year. Some, I will say will be less touchable than others. While the team needs some work it's more of a re-align type year then a complete rebuild. Although my QB situation would make the early 90s Pats proud.
Apparently not just this week, this morning at 6:00 AM....trade deadline is over. Weird, it usually ends at the end of week 10, not before it begins.
It's supposed to be on Wednesday at 6am. I'll take a look at it now. EDIT: I forgot, FleaFlicker has it so that you can only choose a Tuesday so it ends up being the Tuesday immediately following the week 10 games.
REMINDER Get your PS moves in by kickoff Thursday. This is the last chance to bring players up until the off-season.
I just checked. Deadline was early Tuesday last season as well. https://www.fleaflicker.com/nfl/leagues/170742/messages/7667623
Tim I had a question here. If we have no players on our roster at a position playing that week can we leave the spot blank?
So Lavonte David is confirmed out. That means I need to keep him there and can't move him to the bench without grabbing another LB first?
I'm trying to understand your wording here so I can figure out the issue. If you have a player that played in yesterdays game on your bench but you had a player in the starting lineup that just got ruled out today, all you need to do is inform me that you will not be making a roster move to fill that spot. The idea is to make sure that owners are keeping up with their lineups. I'm not going to force an owner to drop a player in order to fill a roster hole that didn't appear until after another available player played and can no longer be added to the starting lineup.
I'm only rostering 2 LBs right now on my active roster. David was confirmed out today. I would rather keep David on my bench and leave the 2nd LB spot blank just in case so I can leave options open for adding a LB after 1pm kickoff for a later game.
That would be a legal move and I have done that before in the past. However, I have always dropped a player in advance because once a player's game kicks off he can not be cut until the waiver process begins. If you're considering not cutting someone until you make a decision you have to make sure that player will be available to cut when you actually make your mind up or else you run the risk of having an empty spot in your starting lineup.
Ya. 1 option is cutting Maye on bye on my PS and moving Randall (also on bye) there but I would be forfeiting Randall for the season. It's not a decision I'd like to make before the later games.
