Being the best offensive linemen doesn't excuse an absolutely stupid penalty. There is no excuse for that.
He’s an aggressive tough offensive lineman...I’ll take the occasional penalty as a trade off for all the other stuff he does. And unless you consider Parkey a sure thing....which you shouldn’t...he didn’t literally take points off the board.
You're being a contrarian fart. There is no excusing a personal foul on a 20 yard gain 3rd down conversion that puts you in fringe field goal range with a fresh set of downs and time to spare. Olin Kreutz is a hall of famer, and even so if he made that play I'd blast his ass for it too. Theres no excuse for it.
Stuff like that happens in football. Even the best linemen get carried away at times. That penalty was not the end of the world. That's not the reason the offense only has 7 points so far.
Oh blow me....Long plays his ass off on every play and he’s one of a handful of players on the team with actual balls. He goes full tilt on every play and I absolutely love him for that. That flag he got was mostly crap. The roughing the passer flag was just as weak. The play should have stood as is because neither play called a foul was an actual foul.
That was a pathetic half of football from the Offense. They broke one big play, apart from that didn't do diddly poo. Nice to see the D playing like they give a shit again. And great to see they've refound their run-stuffing mojo. Im taking a partial credit for that with my sacrificial start of Crowell in ff this week. Its fortunate tho that we're playing a rookie QB with no receivers, cos the pass rush is DOA once again.
If we weren't playing a rookie QB with injury depleted roster we'd probably be losing. If we were in New York we'd probably be losing anyways. The offense better come out blazing in the 2nd half. Outside of one brilliant play call, the offense has been ass.
Yeah, my concern with Leonard Floyd is now a problem. The guy looks lost. Unchanged opinion on Jordan Howard. Deal him. Parkey barfed. And to top it all off? A Deion Simms sighting. He's on the field.
Gabriel looked like the primary read and he looked open. If i'm right thats the 2nd time today that has happened on 3rd down.
