I cant buy RBs. One league I have Cook and Gordon, both out. Adams on a bye. I pickup Powell and he goes Out. Philly decided not to use Clements when up. FML.
This wasn't in our league, but it my #2 $$$ league, this was my opponent (for this week) first 8 rounds at our live draft back in early September: (He picked 11th out of 12 teams) 1. Deandre Hopkins 2. Michael Thomas 3. Adam Theilen 4. Travis Kelce 5. Patrick Maholmes 6. James White 7. Tarik Cohen 8. Nick Chubb And just for good measure, he also added James Conner and Adrian Peterson off the waiver wire...smh I'm not sure if he could have possibly done any better...Dude is leading the field by over 250 points. Lucky for me, the byes don't even effect him at all this week.
You still won !!! I've been in this league for 10 years (+/-) and have NEVER beat GMiller. Thought I finally had him yesterday until the Rams' DST went off for 21 points.
somewhere between 13-15 yrs ago in my work league, my dad was winning by 56 points heading into MNF and the only player that was going for his opponent was CHI D/ST. That was the night Hester had 3 return TDs, they had another DEF TD, some sacks, and hung the highest individual score that I have ever seen, to this day, with 20 yrs of playing fantasy. Completely ridiculous!
