Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Game Thread

Incredible game. One the best ive seen in a very long time.

Great job all round.

Lots to like in this game and very little to improve on.

* Trubs looked like a HOF candidate, unbelievable. He gained confidence as the game went on and had Tom Brady-levels of time in the pocket. That was the promise we were expecting to see, hopefully he can take this and keep the calm when guys are in his face. Accuracy improved as the game went on too, minus that one underthrow. I loved the time he looked off, and the other time where he pump faked. I couldn't believe it.
* Cohen looked great, would have liked to see Howard get some carries but can't really argue with success.
* The defense is special, and Mack has been worth every single penny.
* The Bears REALLY got some calls, but I won't complain. The bucs got a few back when the game was out of reach, hate that ticky tack nonsense.

* Hicks is a great player but goddamn that may have been the dumbest thing I've seen in a football game. Chest bumping a fucking ref? What in the hell is wrong with you? He gets suspended for a game or two and we will feel the pain of that stupidity.

* Hated the 2 QB call on the line for the TD, just way too cute. Worked out but no idea what the hell he was even thinking there.

 

Time to start winning games in the NFC North.

 

Great game all around. Trubisky hit most of the throws he had to. Our defense is obviously back to the form where we all want it to be. The Bucs put in one of the worst performances I've ever seen. Literally Marc Trestman like all around effort by them. We have another weak team after the bye and should be 4-1 when the Patriots come to Chicago. That will be the test to see how good this team really is. There's a whole lot of really bad football teams in this league and thankfully we're not amongst them anymore. Question is are we going to end up .500 or will we compete fora spot in the playoffs.
