My thoughts on the game: Make the color rush the full time uni, just do one in each team color that WAS DPI in the end zone, there's no way in hell you can have two guys running in exactly opposite directions and say they're playing the ball. It doesn't matter which way your head is turned if you just run full speed into a go (in the wrong direction) moving away from the ball Ogunjobi was held pretty badly on the short outside TD run by Crow. Not sure it would have mattered much, but it was not called. Baker's the man. No looking back. Move on from Taylor, find a way to move him. We can call the 2 pt conversion the Dilly Special Kicker nickname: Mr Whatshisleg (actually think he kicked well. the wind was brutal and he seemed to play it nicely)
This is why people don't get along with you, there isn't a "simpler audience" on here. You are not a better person, writer or evaluator than any other person on these boards. Just because you hold yourself on a higher pedestal, doesn't mean you are of a higher caliber of anything. You try to belittle other, for what reason I can't even comprehend. It certainly doesn't add value to anything on a message board. The second part here..."Did I say", you really didn't say anything. You just said that TD was wrong and Sashi shouldn't be talked about. The part you don't understand, nor do I expect you to, is the Browns fans that have been here for decades upon decades..I'm in my forth decade... We know good football, we have seen good football in our lifetime. We aren't ignorant fans who just stick around because we are miserable. We have witnessed the perpetual changes that were made over the last two decades. We witnessed the "expansion" Browns and are fully aware of how wrong that was done from the beginning. But, what has gone on since the expansion is something to marvel at in a morbid way. The ineptitude of ownership and the turnover of front office has led this team into such disarray that something had to be started from scratch. No ordinary GM in their right mind is going to take a roster and destroy it to the bones to start over because they know they won't have a job in two years. Sashi's vision was to build tear this team down so that it could be methodically put back together without anything getting in the way...like wasted veteran contracts, etc...He did what no NFL GM would do. It needed to be done, we have waded through the muck of two years because of that tear down and the fruit is starting to mature. This year is the actual rebirth of the Browns and if Sashi hadn't sacrificed those two years, I for one don't believe we would be as far along as we actually are today. That's about as simple as I can put it for an outsider.
lol! Yeah, he's really trying hard. Even cropped the same post of mine twice, with his britches in a bunch, trying to get me to respond. I shall not. Let him know, I don't respond to trolls anymore. I think we all remember the "Baker Mayfield is accurate" debacle. lmao.... I've matured since then... ....but if I was going to respond, it would probably be something like; ....fortunately, I don't do those things anymore...
I saw that play in the endzone from another angle and from that angle it actually looked a lot more like OPI. From the original angle it looked like DPI. Really the two players were playing the ball and the no call was the best call.
Counter-argument: Now every NFL defensive back knows how to defend against being beaten in the end zone for a touchdown. Take note, Gregggggg...
I believe that was that was where AC was trying to come back to the ball and fight through to it since he had 2 guys going the wrong way chasing his tail
You're right, guys. I'm a troll. I'm not a Browns supporter trying to bring some semblance of sense and non-homerism to the board, because while I want the best for the team, I also tend to see reality. I'm not a part of the group-think. I don't quote twitter left and right, or make outlandish statements with no support. I don't resort to telling people "You're not one of us", when their point makes sense and I have no legitimate dispute to make. I'm happy for the Browns, getting the win. I'm glad Mayfield got his shot, and I hope he doesn't hit the wall that a lot of new QB's do, when opponents have film and can plan for them / their offense properly. There are some decent posters on this board, and I'll hold out hope that they contribute more. For the rest, regard me as a troll - it will save us each the time.
Speaking of Baker... In a half game of play, he posted 201 yards, a 100.1 QB rating and a 73.9% completion rate. DeShone Kizer never hit that rating or completion rate in a game Deshaun Watson has never hit that completion percentage, although half of his games have resulted in a higher QB rating (due to throwing touchdowns) Carson Wentz has only beaten that completion percentage three times (out of 29 games) and that rating in only 31.0% of his games Mitchell Trubisky has only beaten the completion percentage twice (14 games), QB rating three times, and yardage only three times, despite Baker playing essentially a half of football Jared Goff beat the completion percentage twice (24 games), and QB rating eight times (33.3%) Dak Prescott, in 34 games, beat completion percentage seven times (20.6%), and QB rating 16 times (47.1%) Aaron Rodgers, in 151 career regular season games, beat the completion percentage 19.2% of the time, QB rating 53.6% of the time, and projected yards (402) only 2.6% of the time Mayfield did this without practice, cold, coming in down 14 on a nationally televised night game.
Homerism: see Bears’ board Anyone without a membership card gets taken to task. They even banned EVERYONE not in the Bears’ FF league from posting there... must’ve been something I said. Oh yeah, I compared Trubisky to Rick Mirer (Seattle years) and they banned non BFF reps from posting. Talk about soft.
The kid was almost perfect. His completion percentage should have been even better.....He had the one big mistake, but fortunately it clanked off the chest of the Jets DB in the back of the endzone and it didn't cost him. I thought it was as impressive as his preseason debut. Baker Mayfield is a special talent. John Dorsey nailed it....As did a few of us others from afar. I read where Baker was the first rookie QB to come off the bench, throw for 200 yards, and rally his team back from a double digit deficit to earn their first victory of the season since Fran Tarkenton did it for the 1961 Vikings....That's pretty awesome. Tarkenton was my favorite player when I was very young.
You were banned from admittedly and explicity trolling (as you're doing here) on the thread for a closed-membership fantasy football league. A good troll doesn't have to straight-up lie. Get a new job. Homerism is being overly, usually ignorantly optimistic about your team. Most Browns fans here fit the bill, and have proudly admitted to it. On the Bears board, we criticize our team, QB, and front office. We break down film (surprisingly, better than regurgitating Twitter posts or "projected" stats). We also don't tolerate actual trolls. It's why you're generally unwelcome.
Maybe I can find a homer-mod to ban me (and most L4SN participants) from another thread of your choice. The funny part is how the Bears fans claimed I was whining to Babyfan about something... then they turn around and ACTUALLY REQUESTED A BAN. Hypocrite much? Whiny bitches.

You need to step back from the crazy, bud. You're going from 'bad troll' to 'BFRLA' territory in a real hurry. I'm not going to entertain anyone who purposely misrepresents a situation.
Wait . . . What ??? I'm so confused. I thought I was on a thread discussing the Browns 1st win 20 or so tries. Guess not.
