Right now I guarantee two UFAs make the 53 and might both get a hat on game day

 

Adams looked pretty impressive on that last drive. Lived in the backfield and got a lot of pressure...Ran over the RT on one of his pass rushes. I know that tackle will probably be looking for a new job come Saturday, still was impressive.

I missed the game last nite as I was driving back from MD. It appears that Thomas, Adeniyi and Henderson had nice showings. I think the Steelers should keep 4 QBs then trade Landry Jones once everyone is down to 53.

I’m actually pretty excited about this year’s team.

just turned on NFL GMF and Steelers v Panthers is on at 10:00 a.m. ... about a half hour from now.

 

If he doesn't make this team the chances are very likely we face him some time in the future. Could Ben live without Jones? The best three QB's on the team does not include anyone named Jones... and he's had a whale of a pre-season. Does FO value long term over immediate ROI ... how many chances are left?

With the play I heard Hilgrove give last night, I'm pretty sure there will be more than one TUMS taken by the staff in at lest a half dozen positions... sounded like everyone was scratching to the very end... just as Tomlin wanted. Get to watch the game on NFL in about 5 minutes so be back with the GB&U. Especially looking forward to seeing Hodges

As good as he may be at ST, he’s just as awful at ILB

 

Still not impressed with Thomas, yeah he made that one play but other than he’s lost and tentative on most plays. Like he’s thinking too much

 

He looks better than any other ILB on our roster

 

He looks just as bad too as the other ILBs lol

 

Well he has led the team in tackles the last 2 weeks...he will need a learning curve but once he gets it and triggers w his reads look out

 

That’s not saying nuch with this group of ILB. He may make the 53 but under normal circumstances he would be waived today and placed on the practice squad next week. He needs a lot more work, Our only hope at ILB is that Williams plays at least at an average level and Bostic improves during the year to play a little above average. They have nothing else behind that this season.
