I was lazy and kept Sunday Ticket yet again, but next year I am 100% on board with this. Let me know how it goes for you guys doing this for the first time. I'll have to buy another fire stick though as I can't jailbreak the ones I have.

Why not? Just go to settings/device/developer options/ then turn on apps from unknown sources.
It sounds like perhaps if you bought one loaded that after they loaded it they probably turned that to off. This way they figured you would just buy another one from them. Jailbreaking is a cool name and all, but all it really means is enabling the ability to side load apps.

Nah, I work for a certain company that would be upset if they found me sideloading for many different reasons and yes they would know (I'll let you figure that one out, heh).

However, I did the free trial of NFL GamePass and that actually was pretty good. It's in the normal app store, and the games are apparently posted by Sunday night, and come with commercials cut out and you can watch the "condensed" game in 30 minutes too. It's $100 and that's a lot less than the hundreds I spent on the prepaid Sunday Ticket, so I'll probably do that next year. Also has all preseason games live.
