I've been away from this forum for a few years. Life got a bit crazy for me for a while. I'm back now and was really looking forward to some intelligent conversation about Bears football. If memory serves that what this place used to be all about. From Mongos pre and post game write ups and the good banter from Ev, BBW, and Mongo. It was great. So now I ask WHAT THE FUCK happened. Did everyone fall into the cesspool the internet has become and we just have petty off topic dick measuring contests. I'll still stick around and read the constant retardation spewed because it's funny but that's really not why I came back here.
I left for a couple years too. A lot of folks did, the Bears were bad, no enthusiasm, and we became an easy target for trolls. Board is kinda dead, and bored people amuse themselves as best they can. We used to have higher quality trolls, though. I’ve heard if you say Jprin’s name three times alone in your garage, and spin in a circle while saying it, that you can summon him from the Bieber fanboard where he undoubtably lurks.
Pretty fair points there....I'd like to see this board become what it once was...that would be awesome. And just for future reference...no reason to measure...mines the biggest.
Beat me to it. Missing TC is a lot more harmful on the offensive side of the ball, so hopefully he steps right in.
Good stuff, finally. Excited to see him on the field. Bears could have a really good set of linebackers if they stay healthy.
You know now that Al in Cal is gone maybe we could convince Packersrule to come back. He's over at that other site. I'll check into that.

Smith has a very high football acumen I have total faith he'll be up to speed and rolling fully with the D (including calling plays) by week one.
I heard Nagy say well he missed a lot of practice and it wouldn't be fair to the other guys blah blah blah, I laughed at his remarks towing the company line, but you and I both know he'll be in there week #1. Besides football smarts, he keeps himself in shape and that will be just as important to him playing week one.
