Approach with caution One of my more inspired efforts at one time… Ode to a Troll! I’m here to tell Stick Michael that Cockroach to go please just leave. We all know how you rant and rave, You spew out through your drool and spittle, your hatred for our coach, whom you care for very little. The Browns he can’t save. That is your rant. That is your rave. Mangini is his name, that we all know. Now leave us alone and crawl back to your hole. Thread after thread try as we might, just can’t get away from the cockroach’s sight. He waits and he watches day and night. To pounce on a thread with all his might. Over and over, again and again, to tell us that Mangini’s not our man he's not right. Crazy Crextin’s 2018 Pre Season/Training Camp Thoughts Well fellow lounge houndz here we are again on the eve of another season of Cleveland Browns football. Once again the hope exists that this year will finally be the year. Reasons we Browns fans can be excited: 1) John Dorsey - The addition of Dorsey has been seen and felt across the entire team. There finally is some real depth across the board. 2) The QB room has undergone a complete overhaul. Dorsey has added two solid veterans including a probowl/playoff caliber QB in Tyrod Taylor, for a third round pick; the price was right. NO, he’s no Brady, Brees, Ryan, Rodgers, ect… Yet he’s probably the best starter on the roster since Couch got couched. He also added a solid backup in Drew Stanton. Then with the #1 selection in the draft made Baker Mayfield the QB of the future. As teams like the Vikings and Eagles demonstrated last year having 2-3 good QB’s is not a bad thing. 3) The solid trio of Hyde, Chubb and Johnson is about as good a group as we’ve seen in years. 4) The O-line should be solid again. Yes, Thomas will be missed, but every team goes through this and the Browns will move on. 5) The WR group has plenty of potential. It’s a bummer that Gordon isn’t going to be there for the start. I am glad he’s getting the help he needs to get himself mentally ready for the long season ahead. I think that will pay dividends in the long run for Josh as a player and a person. Beyond Landry and Gordon there are enough question marks for me to put this as the weakest position group. IF Coleman stays healthy; Calloway proves that he’s grown up and moved beyond his past mistakes; and they both live up to their potential this group could turn into possibly one of the best WR corp in the NFL. 6) The TE group is solid. I am anxious to see how well this group grows. Can’t wait to see Njoku burn the squeelers cover zero defense J The addition of Haley as the OC will do wonders for this team. 7) Defensively the secondary has undergone a major overhaul as well. Trading Kizer for a starting safety was a stroke of genius. Adding solid veterans like Gaines and Carrie will go a long way to solidifying a position of weakness last year. Ward will likely go through Rookie growing pains as he is tested out of the gate with Brown day one. Joe Haden had those same growing pains. Overall this group should be better. 8) As long as everyone on the D-line stays healthy watch out. On the end Garret and Ogbah have the potential to be amongst the best duos in the AFCN. The potential rotation of Brantley, Ogunjobi and Meder in the middle is promising. We’ll see who the 4th guy is as camp winds down. 9) At LB the signing of Kendricks really solidified a good group. Kirksey and Schobert really started coming into their own last year. With a healthy Collins this Defense is really starting to shape up. It will be interesting to see how Williams utilizes these guys. Overall IMHO this is the most complete roster the Browns has had going into training camp and plenty of reason to get excited. Let the haters hate and the trolls troll, WE ARE BROWNS FANS bark Loud and Proud. 2018 WILL be different.
Oh, I'm a Tribe fan, Bluez. It's just that the Reds have been my number one team since 1963 when Pete Rose became the first cog in what would become The Big Red Machine. Rok
