  2. I say we are going 10-6 with a division win. Joe finally has some damn weapons and we know they can run the ball.

The defense is going to be so much better this season too just by changing things up.

    Fuck Pittsburgh.
    Fuck Cincinnati.
    Fuck Cleveland.

    I'm ready!

    You really don’t like it.

    10-6 ain’t winning the AFCN

I see the Ravens at 7-9. That ain’t winning shit.

I also am ready for some football to get underway. Rookies report today so that is exciting.

I think 10-6 is a reasonable prediction. I think it is going to depend on injuries really, as it usually does. I like the additions we have made and I am optimistic about the offense.

I am not sure 10-6 wins the division. Pitt is going to be tough and they are looking pretty darned good so we will see how their roster holds up to the injury bug.

I think Cincy will be better than they were last year and I also think Cleveland improves as well. This is going to be a fun year in the AFCN. I think it will be a real battle!

I see a very competitive division in 2018. The Bengals and Ravens both addressed their biggest weaknesses. The Browns will be a tough out.

As much as I'd like to see the Ravens at 10-6, I can just as easily see them at 6-10.

This isn't an easy schedule and the Ravens, though hopefully improved, haven't proven a thing yet.

The only saving grace for the Ravens is that each team in the division has the same schedule save three teams. Pittsburgh has the toughest schedule because they get the first place schedule (New England, Jacksonville and KC) So then the question turns to the home and away schedule.

Frankly I haven't looked any closer than the Ravens schedule but I think its difficult if for no other reason than 8 of the 16 games are against playoff teams, 5 away, 3 at home. They travel to the Falcons, Chiefs, Titans and Panthers, not to mention Pittsburgh; always tough, and at home they get the Saints, Pittsburgh and Bills.

And how about the non-playoff teams? Cleveland looks improved but, like the Ravens, haven't proven a thing yet. But they always seem to play the Ravens tough. Same with the Bengals. They still have some talent. The Broncos have a new QB. The Raiders have Gruden, The Chargers have Rivers, The Bucaneers have..........who do they have?

Anyway, I hope you see my point.

I think on a good day they can beat Cleveland, The Bengals, Bills, Raiders, Broncos, Titans, Steelers and really, anyone on their schedule. A lot of times it's which Ravens team shows up.

The questions will be answered when we finally witness for ourselves whether the offense and defense has improved; Game one.

  9. These are the wins I am confident in in the order we play them:
    Bills
    Broncos
    Browns
    Titans
    Steelers
    Bengals
    Raiders
    Buccaneers
    Chargers
    Browns

I expect this season to look a lot like 2012s standings so get used to being cozy with Cleveland this year.

I like your confidence picks. If I had to do a quick rundown those 10 would likely be on it.

We have a thing for our fantasy league where you pick another teams guaranteed losses. You can pick up to 3 games and we throw in 5 bucks for each game we pick winner takes all.

If I had to pick some games I think are guaranteed losses for us this seaon I'm going with just two Atlanta away and Carolina away. I have zero confidence in sneaking into the south for a couple wins. I feel better about the home ones.

Just have to stay healthy and it will all come together. The team was snake bit last season.

    It happens.

So you think the Steelers sweep us? I just don't see that happening. We have the best defense in the division. The only sweep in our schedule is the Ravens sweeping the Browns. Your team may be improving but they don't have enough in the tank to go against the big teams in the division. You might win a game against the Bengals but that will be your only division win.

    Time will tell.

I think the Ravens are at a transitional stage. Not sure which way to go into the future. If Flacco isn't shown love, and with the pick of Jackson that's the opposite of love, I think he will regress to the point of..when do you start the rookie. I don't think Flacco is built to push himself into playing above and beyond. When he presses, he makes mistakes. When he is comfortable, he plays well above average. 2018 will not be comfortable for Flacco.

Your defense is definitely your strength, but come on, how long are Suggs and Weddle going to play? Age is catching up.

Ultimately, I think Flacco will be the down fall of the Ravens this year. First, he pushes himself into mistakes, Second, they put the rookie on the field too early because of Flacco.

I still think the Steelers are the class of the division unfortunately. IF Ben gets hurt early...they too will fall, especially if Bell holds out the first half of the season.

I truely don't know what to make of the AFCN this season. All four teams COULD exceed their fanbases' expectations - or - all four could fall short.

Think I'll just take a "wait and see" approach.

    Okay. How about this . . .

    PIT 16-0
    BAL 8-8
    CIN 8-8
    CLE 0-16

    Happy now?
