https://www.yahoo.com/news/surprise-five-guys-now-america-165751265.html it's damn good, but the service is slow because they grill the burger in front of you and it's so expensive. add a soda and fries - you're dropping $11-14 easy. i go maybe 3x a year. Their bacon cheese hotdog is the best hotdog i ever had. it's huge and they cut it in half on served on one of their super soft rolls. try and thank me later.
ew-i had white castle once in college. it was about 5 of us and we were drunk out of our minds. they were so slow with our order as we got many burgers. food was good, but didn't see the hype. now i live on the East Coast. I never saw a Jack in the Box or some Southern or Western US Chains.
^^and that was in college in the Chicago suburbs. Never seen a WC in or near Philly where I live. Sorry Gid.
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/americas-favorite-burger-brand-150335844.html 5 Guys -- is named Best Burger place AGAIN! Tops IN N OUT Burger. Sad thing is 5 guys got more expensive and now it's like $15 to eat there with fries and a soda !
^^Not true^^ Where did they find a room full of troglodytes to make up this poll? 5 Guys have nothing on Bareburger. 5 Guys is a 3-Star McDonalds (1-Star). Visit Bareburger’s menu and then tell me you saw something at 5 Guys that tops it. You know where to find me. I know my fucking burgers, YO!
don't shoot the messenger Burger Halo. Just reporting the news. I never heard of Bareburger. And it's not about the menu, it's about the quality and taste of the items on it. 5 guys, although expensive as all hell, makes a damn good burger and has an awesome grilled hot dog.
just googled their menu. wow. it looks amazing halo. funny they didn't include prices on it. all that over the top fancy stuff probably cost a fortune too, so if you're eating it, you're paying for it too.
Bareburger’s Mexican Chocolate Shake is kick-ass too! Can’t speak for all the locations but some serve booze and make good Mules (Moscow/Kentucky/Mexican). Sorry Cat... enjoy the shake!
The bareburger location in toronto closed last year to good reviews. Our national treasure at the moment is burgers priest.
The Burger's Priest is okay (ton's of options but a little pricey for how small they are) but right now my favourite burger right now is this place called Delirious Burger Co. There is the main location and a smaller one on Locke Street (You may have heard of the anarchists that marched down and wrecked the windows of the shops on Locke) that only serves the basic burger, Portobello stuffed burger (vegetarian option) and fries. It doesn't matter which I go to since the best burger IMO is the double bacon cheese with fried jalapenos added on and the have it there. Lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and just a touch of ketchup. Right now that to me is the perfect burger.
There's always that independent place with the one location that you could find. My favourite was a place called golden star in thornhill, they've been there since 1964. There's a place called holy chuck that I've heard is good, many greasey pits like dairy freeze and zets. Burger priest has 14 locations, but only in alberta and ontario. Funny story behind the name, it's supposed to be the anti-in and out, standing for purity.
