Guess the first round pick

I believe we are going to land Mason Rudolph. This draft may be our only chance to replace Ben without going crazy trying to trade up and get one. Every one is talking about the other five QBs in this draft, but like Ben could easily be the best of this class.

 

When your a SB contender and have a couple of holes you need to fill them....they cant take a high pick and have him wait 2-3 yrs....take Guice or go get Derwin James

 

With Ben still clicking, and seeing a gigantic hole in the middle of the defense, plus the Steelers just emptied out their safety chest... I’d say the best safety or ILB available.

Guice would be a big ol’ “fuck you” to LVB. That would be ... compelling.

I like S Justin Reid at 1.28.
LB Derrius Leonard at 2.28.

 

Rudolph reminds me of Jones. Could be wrong. I don't wanna see another Jones on the team.

My guess for the 1.28 is Guice. Most of the LBs worthy of the 1st round will probably be gone. Unless Rashaan Evans slides.

 

IMHO, Granted, he's an OLB but Malik Jefferson should be right there at 1-28.

I see two Safeties neck and neck in the 2nd round (Ronnie Harrison, Alabama and Justin Reid, Stanford). Unfortunately, I think they will both be long gone by 2-28.

 

Jefferson in round 1 is not just a reach, but a reach around, IMO. It would be nice to hear “sacked by Jefferson”, “crushed by Jefferson” (Fast Times at Ridgemont High reference), but I see better LB talent further down the board.

 

Last 1st round RB: Rashard Mendenhall. 2008. And the Steelers had a bigger need THEN.

Steelers aren't going 1st RD running back tonight.

Maybe rounds 2 or 3 .

I don’t think they’ll go offense until round 3. I think the pick is Evens if he’s available. Justin Reid is the backup pick.
