Leafs keep showing they need a true #1 D and yet they keep avoiding it. Andersen has the most saves of any goalie because the D is shit. The D makes mistakes in key moments when they are dominating a game. Until that 3rd Bruins goal the Leafs were playing much better than the Bruins.

It's a fucking trend they refuse to address. A 2nd round pick and prospects for Plekanec but they won't give a 3rd to Vegas before for who would instantly become a top pairing defender, and not a fake one like Hainsey.

 

Just remember: 3-1 is the worst lead to have in hockey.

 

I think kadri could've made a bit of a difference last night, but rask stole the show anyway.

 

Let me think, kadri and komorov come back for game 5 as Patrice still sits, hmmmm. Well, let's start dreaming of that 7% chance.

The leafs could've moved for Ian cole at the deadline instead if plekanec. They really have so much depth at forward and not nearly enough in the backend.

Crosby. malkin. kessel and Miller could all miss the rest of the series and it still wouldn't matter. whatever sieve goalie the Flyers are starting is letting up 5 goals tonight.

Would you rather have Brad Marchand or Tyler Seguin?

Been an ongoing discussion with some buddies but I’d appreciate some non Sully opinions.

 

No brainer for me (cuz I got no brain). NFK all the way! Love that guy's game and scoring skills. I could go on, but that's my 'final answer'.

I would take marchand because he plays the whole ice much better than seguin.

Im in the minority but I’d take Seguin. Im not so confident in my answer these days though.
Since Seguin was dealt Marchand has improved so much, not really sure on Seguin’s improvement. He hit the ground running in Dallas and hasn’t really looked back. A very quiet 40 goals this season.
The offensive output for these two is pretty even.
Marchand more versatile and elite on the pk. Marchand also more prone to doing stewpid shit and getting suspended. Seguin is a right handed center, more valuable than a W.
Marchand plays with more balls and I can see that being the big difference and deal breaker.
