saw a solid 7 episode mini-series on netflix called Godless. It's a brutal Western. Jeff Daniels and Jack O'Connell are very good. brutal but good if you like Westerns and have Netflix. Check it out.
Just finished this and thought it was amazing. Definitely brutal and bloody. Depressing too. But phenomenal.
Have to look it up - it features a few folks from other series I was invested in (Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey, Kim Coates from Sons of Anarchy). And yes, I know - sublime to the ridiculous.
