Nate Solder would be my left tackle in this case....Mills would be RT, and either Price or Tretter at Center....With Bitonio and Zietler back at Guards. We would be rock solid, and I agree that the Browns stole price in this one. I don't know how they did that? lol! If they do pull off a Buffalo trade, then stopper owes me a beer or something....

I'd love a first round that gave us Mayfield, Edmunds and Sutton...And it really was the only theory I could come up with taking the "no QB will sign in free agency" factor into consideration...A veteran QB is an absolute MUST in my opinion. So a deal will have to be made somewhere, if that were truly the case. Surely we wouldn't just go in with a rookie and Kizer...(I don't even count Cody and what's his name)

Bills definitely have been calling about a move up. Cordy Glenn has been involved int he talks, too - they tried to move him last season and failed. So there's your LT. Problem is, this lines up perfectly for a team like Denver who (1) likely goes the proven vet route in free agency, (2) needs an LT, and (3) wouldn't cost nearly as dearly to move up.
I considered involving him, but Cordy Glenn isn't all that reliable...I have serious concerns about that ankle, as do the Bills. He only played in half the games over the last two seasons...Jordan Mills is rock solid and hasn't missed a game over the same span, and comes much cheaper.
I get what you're saying, but both Dorsey and McCloughan have been higher on Mayfield than any other QB this year. Dorsey went to multiple OU games to scout him, despite not being employed by an NFL team. He did not go to see Rosen, Darnold, or Allen. McCloughan has long-held Mayfield as the top QB in this class and, like me, says it's "not close". He went as far as to compare him to Brett Favre in an interview. Here's the deal... Mayfield is a HUGE risk, NFL-wise. Not because he can't do it, but because he goes so against the grain at #1. If the Browns draft Sam Darnold and he flops (like he probably will), it's not their fault... they can blame the coach, or injuries, or whatever. He was a 6'4" 220 pound "pro-style" QB who looked and acted the part. I posted a tweet just the other day about comparing him to Carson Palmer, as if that was a good thing. He *should* be the same player (at worst) as Palmer. A big-bodied, mobile-enough, traditional QB prototype ought to always produce at that level... and yet they rarely do. Mayfield, a brash, charismatic 6'0" QB is not even close to the other guys in this class from a talent standpoint. But the second he hits any struggles at the next level, it's the tired old routine - "a six-foot QB can't make it", "he's too short", etc. What's maddening to me is the number of folks who point to a prototype like Darnold and say he's the better pick because he's "traditional", ignoring that the traditional guys fail at an alarming rate. Mayfield is risky, sure, but there have been so few smaller QBs picked it's nearly impossible to accurately project. So it comes back to: can they play? The only reason Dorsey & Co. don't go with Mayfield is if they're worried the notoriously trigger-happy Huckleberry Haslam will have them on short leashes. He's the best QB in this class and they seem to agree with that notion. But he's not the safest and NFL teams like safe.
This much is certain. I can't wait to see what the Browns do, and I'm already sick of hearing Mel Kiper ramble on about Josh Allen and his amazing arm talent. Look, I'm intrigued by the kid, but enough is enough. All he talks about are his physical characteristics. What about production? What about poise? What about game feel and preparation? What about leadership? He seems to think the only thing that should matter to Cleveland is getting a big bodied, big arm guy, that can withstand the rigors of the AFCN....I disagree. We've tried that. We have to make sure we actually get a QB this time. Not just a tall guy with a cannon...
Mel Kiper: Lamar Jackson is too inaccurate (57%) to be considered a good QB. Also Mel Kiper: Josh Allen's 56% completion doesn't matter, stats are for losers. And while I agree that a number doesn't necessarily equate to accuracy (I get what he's going for), keep in mind that Allen had 12 drops from his receivers. Jackson had 34 drops *AND* lost his top three targets from 2016. Josh Allen is a walking, talking bust who's going to be out of the NFL faster than Christian Ponder. Mel has officially jumped the shark.
I had DeShone Kizer as "undraftable" last season, but that was with my Browns' grades. I thought a 3-5 round pick on him to a championship-caliber team that could develop him would be a good thing. I have Josh Allen as "undraftable" this season, and that's just overall. No team should even waste a pick on this guy.
Me thinks you're selling yourself short TD.... You have a nice haul there, but you also traded for 2.21 and I don't see a pick in there for that one...go ahead and throw in an extra guy!
