Interested in seeing how you all think this game will play out. Does the offense get going and put up over 24 points? Does the defense stop the run this week? I’ll go out on a limb and say this week they fire on all cylinders, but give up a late TD to make the score just a little bit closer than it should be. Steelers: 31 Bengals: 24
I can't see losing to the Bengals. Too much intensity for our team to lose focus. I think this is the week we finally see our offense firing on all cylinders. Hopefully we can keep BURFICT off of our star players knees and heads. I think this is the game where Bell, Bryant, Brown, whoever our TE of the day is & Ben get off. Our offense hasn't played a complete game yet this season, and this game is the one to remedy that.
All depends on which Ben we get, doesn't it? If we get the same Ben we've had all this season, it will likely AGAIN be a very close game, with chance of losing at home in a crucial game. If we get the 2014-2015 Ben, the one playing better and taking more of what the defense gives him, we'll likely win by 10+. First sign indicator.........We have 7 points or less on the board at halftime. If we do........then buckle up everyone. I don't care what the "CIRCUMSTANCES" are surrounding that, its inexcusable. An update to a truly UNBELIEVABLE stat. The Steelers this year have the FEWEST quarters in which the team has scored 10+ points. Every team has done that, most teams do it every week. 10+ points in any one quarter..........what a novelty. Well, our Steelers have done that the FEWEST number of times in the entire league (TWICE) - ALL YEAR. That's right......thru six games, our team has scored 10+ points in any one quarter twice................last in the league. We did it once in the Ravens game, and one last week vs KC. 24 quarters played in 2017, and we've scored 10+ points in only TWO of them.
Bottom line is Steelers need to come out and put it on the Bengals and seize control of the number 1 seed.
I stand by the prediction I made in another thread. The Raiders' offense suddenly came to life last night so I don't see any reason why ours shouldn't at least flash a few more sparks than it has. If it does, watch out. 34-13 Steelers
I really was uneasy for the Ravens but not the Chiefs because that is a good match up for the Steelers. This game is a good match up too. Green is really the only weapon they have and the Steelers pass D is good. Pitt wins 21-13
Easiest prediction is Burfict will be a d-bag As for the score I can't get a good feel on who wins but I'm feeling a 20-16 or 24-19 type of game. We as Steeler fans know how important Gilbert and Tuitt are to our beloved team, but around the league they are the most underrated on the team. Two of our best big uglies not playing; I don't know how some of u predict a blowout but I hope ur right.
Well that's easy............because Derek Carr is a better quarterback RIGHT NOW than our Hall of Famer taking snaps. Derek Carr isn't upside down on TDs/INTs on the season. Derek Carr is making better decisions overall than Ben and has better stats in nearly every passing category despite missing a game and a half this year. THAT is a big reason why their offense "came to life", and that is statistically arguable (certainly when compared to ours) as their offense hasn't been their problem this year. What you saw the other night was A LOT of good QB play from both teams.
