Me too! I also agree with Beach that this season resembles 2005 now .... put Ben on a leash and Whisenhunt him. Maybe we will win another Super Bowl. Runs and play action. Let’s get back to that. Problem is Haley though too imo.

Anybody see that Bryant requested a trade? He’s unhappy with his role. Maybe catch a few of those passes and you get the stats. Pretty messed up considering how the Steelers stuck with him through all his stuff.

He may be right. He's not getting enough targets. In a way I don't blame him.

He has a catch percentage of 50%. He wants the ball more? Catch it when it’s thrown at him. Not all of the throws have been great, but he’s dropped more than his share of passes, 2 would be TDs

I didn’t see that. That’s really messed up. They do need to get him the ball more. This offense is a mess.

Almost sounds like there's a Cleveland infection going around the locker room.

    RECEIVING
NAME REC TAR YDS AVG TD LONG 20+ YDS/G FUM FUML YAC 1DN
    Antonio Brown 48 74 700 14.6 2 51 11 116.7 1 0 196 30
    Martavis Bryant 17 34 231 13.6 1 51 4 38.5 0 0 48 9
    JuJu Smith- 15 24 192 12.8 2 25 2 32.0 0 0 75 12

What's the complaint about ? MB @ 50% JJSS @ 62.5%, except for YAC everything else is statistically pretty even. Catch at a better percentage and do more after the catch. Season is so young ... more play less talk if any of this is real.

    *cough*

The fact is Bryant is expendable until he shows why not. On the trade market, however, if we were to offer him by himself we'd be lucky to get a fourth-round pick. He's always been a distraction who gets by on talent alone and IMO it's only a matter of time until he screws up again.

Ok maybe i should listen to my own advice...

I’m now reading his agent requested a trade two weeks ago. However, it seems like everyone (Bryant, coaches and teammates) is saying the right things. Maybe this could be part of the drama the team has been going through. But as many have said winning cures many things.

    I’ll shut up now.

I've been requesting his trade for a while now, if only for the sake of solidifying the future of this team. Just so happens he's one of the highest potential players on this team who is also expendable. I am, after all, a Steelers fan, not necessarily a Martavis Bryant fan.

But, good on him if he actually wants to show up.

Here’s what Roethlisberger had to say about this:

“Yeah, I have talked to him I talked to him before and you know what it is, is sometimes, like Martavis, I talk to him, he doesn’t want to go anywhere,” Roethlisberger said. “Sometimes things come from agents, because they want what they think is best for the player and dont realize that it ends up hurting the player. I don’t know exactly what happened here but I do know that Martavis, there hasn’t been any inklings of unhappiness. It’s unnecessary drama.”

Roethlisberger then went on to take a shot at Rapoport.

“This is the first person that broke this story first was the same person that broke the story that I wanted to be traded and I know there’s zero-percent truth to that, so I kind of take some of the stuff that he says with a grain of salt, too,” Roethlisberger said.

Roethlisberger was then asked about the Sunday night tweets from Bryant’s girlfriend that have since been deleted that seemed to support the idea that the wide receiver wants out of Pittsburgh.
