I've been really impressed with Goff. How much does he like the new Rams offense? It's like night and day. I don't like Derek Carr's match-up this week in fantasy (at Denver) so i picked up Goff, and I won't be surprised if he continues to impress, this weekend in Dallas...
Goff isn't a surprise. Some really sharp folks had him pegged as the clear-cut #1 QB last year. Case Keenum on the other hand... And when he's in the lineup, Sam Bradford is ranked consistently in the Top 3. It's like Minnesota just prints quarterbacks. Damn sure isn't their offensive coordinator. You know, this guy:
His rep as a coordinator isn't all bad. Just don't let him slide into the head coach spot.... Goff and Keenum were both in QB purgatory under Fisher last season...Coincidence they both look way better this season? I think not.
I wish it were as simple as that. This entire offense needs help. I'm in draft mode already, which even for us seems early this year We need a real WR and CB
I will take a step further....a new DC...this guy is a fool w his 8 man box and leaving corners on an island...you let Dalton shred you like this...look in the mirror Williams
Well....I taped the game and just turned it off and deleted it after becoming 31-0. Kenny Britt.....what big steaming pile of dog manure he turned out to be (no offense to the steaming pile of dog manure). A false start?!?!? It's been awhile since we've had a WR get flagged for that. Britt was just the man for that..... And then the deflected pass that was picked that hit him right in the chest. The Browns would be better off cutting him, eating his 4 year salary, and not throwing in another WR to fill his spot on the field. He's absolutely killing this offense. And on to Kizer....... I know he's young and learning on the job but I see no improvement in 4 games now. He locks in and stares down the WR. And while doing it becomes a statue in the pocket, becomes oblivious of the incoming pressure and takes a sack. I just don't see him going through his reads after the ball is snapped. And yet again, the defense has no clue how to stop the dump pass in the flat......And so many open WR's over the middle. Everyone has sold out on the blitz or backpedaled 10 or more yards off of any WR or away from any open spot in the zone. Sigh.......only 4 games in and I can't see the team improving. Gonna be a real long year fellas..............
Breaking news from the American Medical Association: "It is no longer necessary in an ER room to insert a tube down a patient's esophagus in order to pump their stomach clear of dangerous ingested substances. Simply force the patient to watch Cleveland Browns football. The patient will vomit on their own accord."
Get a load of this friggin' guy! What a chucklehead. With the 31-7 drubbing to Cincinnati which reset the meter on "most embarrassing Hue loss yet", the Browns now have "winnable" games against the 2-2 Jets, the first place Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2), first-place Houston Texans (2-2), and the 1-3 Chicago Bears. Yikes. After another complete regression by Hue's squad and with no foreseeable turnaround in sight, 0-16 just went from possible to probable. Who knows, maybe they'll luck into another win against the hapless Chargers in December.
Ugly @showstopper That's a tough break. Cook was looking good this season, despite all the grief I gave you over him.
Fun Fact! Fun Fact! Hue Jackson's first four games with Cleveland (not truly a 'rookie' head coach) his team scored 74 points. Fun Fact! Hue's 2016 squad took eight contests to beat McVay's 142 point mark. Ugly Hue's 2017 group has scored 63 points in their first four games this season (17 of those points - 27% - coming from #hashtags4Hogan). At his rate, it would take them a field goal in their 13th game to score 142 points on the season with Kizer at QB. Isn't that interesting... Cody Kessler: *handsomely demands a trade*
Shizer DeShone (After 2017, it'll be 'DeGone') Kizer was so bad I wished we had taken Deshaun Watson.
