Keep sitting out preseason games and it will happen a lot more....also teams that do that will eventually get crushed in the run game...its like playing 9 vs 11...Pitt was going empty a ton which allowed the 2 deep safeties even more

Gift wrapped my ass. There was plenty of time on the clock for the best WR (crap receiver if you're a delusional Browns fan) in the NFL to beat the Bengals.
Two things; 1.) I'm about as far from delusional as one can get. 2.) Fuck you! How about we just officially ignore each other on here.
I believe the point he is making is that had someone made hits on Brown like Wilcox did we would be screaming about how dirty it was.
That was the one hit I didn't have a problem with. It was hard and Wilcox himself got shaken up, but Wilcox was clearly aiming for the ball. Ward would take hits like that all the time and pop up grinning.
Which has happened with most fanbase anyway. I didn't watch the game but I heard Pittsburgh had about 4 personal fouls. Then I saw Ben tackle a guys ankle, he specifically went for the legs. Steelers, Browns, Ravens. We'd all respond the same way if it happened to our team, especially by a divisional rival
I think that's a good point. The only people out there calling the Steelers "dirty" in any way are fans of the other AFC North teams (and Burfict, who might as well just be a fan right now). Seriously, it's just been news blogs of the Browns and one Bungles fan I saw who've commented on the Steelers' actions any more than, "It happened, and the Steelers hurt themselves by making it happen." I hate the personal fouls because of what they did during the game as well as the grim light they cast on the team. I'd like to cheer on a team who plays cleanly and I can't defend guys who may look like they're out to hurt other players. Burfict himself brought those feelings back to the surface for me with his flagrant bullshit almost two years ago. EDIT: For the record, I have absolutely no respect for anyone who defends Burfict's actions even to this day. They're trash just like he is. I have no idea what Ben was thinking going after Ogbah, but I'd be curious to know why Ogbah knocked Ben over in the first place like that. I think it was after Ben's INT but the play wasn't happening anywhere near there.
Well, after an INT, defenders can block offensive players (legally), at that point. I've seen players go to lay a hit on a QB after an INT. Ogbah didn't seem malicious with his hit at all. And as we agree on, it's a lot more when within the division. I still see divisional rival fans call Suggs dirty even though he's never injured a player in his entire 15 year career to my knowledge. Can't be a dirty player with that clean of a history. Right now, Browns fans have a right to take issue with it all. Just like Steelers fans took issue with Burfict after that playoff game Lyman mentioned
Bullshit, Suggs put out Willie Colon when he cut his legs during a pull by Colon. He went on IR after that hit.
According to a story on Steelers Depot Ben said he was protecting his guys. http://www.steelersdepot.com/2017/09/roethlisberger-says-ankle-hold-ogbah-done-protect-teammates/
Actually, if the QB doesn't show he is going after the defender that intercepted the ball defenders are not allowed to block them. Ben said he wasn't going after the guy with the ball. That hit on Ben should have been a personal foul with Cleveland retaining the ball.
Ogbah played a game of two hand tap and Ben flopped like a forward taking a charge that never touched him in the NBA. THEN, Ben tried to take him out at the knee. Personal foul should have went to Ben for the flop, and then tagged on an additional foul for the lame excuse for trying to "protect" his teammates.
