AB is one of those gems you just sit back and be thankful you drafted. He can do so much to help a team win a ball game, keep you in a ball game and keep the opponents off the field. When you need him, he is there.

That's was the wishbone, not a single leg...He grabs on and if the bone snaps, he gets to make a wish...his wish was to put him out of the game, and possibly the rest of the year.

For the record I really hope Ben and Shazier get hit with fines. They were already favored to win - there should have been no need for that bullshit. If I hate Vontaze Burfict for being a dirty piece of piss, I can't in good conscience ignore it when my team's players play recklessly either.

    • The shutout was the largest ever to extend a winning streak of 15 or more games.
    • The 19-game streak is tied for fourth-longest of the modern era (since 1900), but the Indians have a larger run differential than any of those other streaks.
    • With a plus-100 run differential, the Indians became just the fourth team of the modern era with that large of a differential over 19 games: (1) 1939 Yankees, +130; (2) 1933 Senators, +104; (3) 1904 Giants, +103; (4) 2017 Indians, +100. The second-largest differential this season for a 19-game stretch is plus-68 by the Dodgers.
    • The Indians have allowed just 32 runs in 19 games (1.68 per game). They've hit 38 home runs.
    • They've trailed at the end of an inning just four times out of 171 innings (it helps that they've scored first in 18 of the 19 games).
    • They lead the majors with 18 shutouts; next-most in the AL are the Twins and Orioles with 10.
    • Lindor, who hit a bases-loaded triple in the second inning, is now hitting .365/.434/.770 with 17 runs and 18 RBIs during the streak.
    • Carrasco has allowed zero runs or one run in six of his past seven starts.

    Just occurred to me:

For the first time in his career, Joe Haden is 1-0.

That's why the Steelers gave Haden the game ball after Sunday's opener.

Joe: "They gave me the game ball because it was my first win in a home opener."

Steelers were the away team. Old habits die hard.

Yeah. Haden had several "identity crises" during interviews after the game. Old habits, indeed.

Or, he's a sleeper cell from Browns management. Targeted seven times, allowed six receptions for 80 yards and a passer rating of 106.3.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — With a 2-0 win Tuesday against Detroit, the Cleveland Indians joined the 2002 Oakland A’s as the only American League teams to win 20 consecutive games.

The Indians became just the third team in the modern era of Major League Baseball with winning streaks of 14+ games in back-to-back seasons, joining the New York Giants (1912-13) and Chicago Cubs (1935-36).

The numbers behind Cleveland’s streak are staggering. The Indians are not just beating teams, they’re doing it in historically dominant fashion.

Thanks to the help of the Indians’ baseball communications department, here are 20 facts about the Tribe’s historic streak that will absolutely blow your mind.

    Double trouble
Since the winning streak began, the Indians have scored in double digits six times. The most runs the team has surrendered was 6 to Boston during the first win of the streak.

    Early and often
During the streak, the Indians have outscored opponents 64-12 (+52) in innings 1-3.

    It's magic
The Tribe’s magic number to clinch the division has been reduced from 31 to 5 during the streak. On Aug. 24 the Indians held a 5.5 game lead on Minnesota in the American League Central Division. That lead has grown to 13.5 with 17 games remaining.

    Road warriors
The winning streak includes an 11-0 stretch on the road, the longest for Cleveland since 2001.

    Definitely differential
Cleveland has outscored opponents by a margin of 134-32 (+102) over the last 20 games. That +102 run differential is the best 20-game margin in franchise history and the largest by any MLB team since the 1939 New York Yankees had six different spans of 107+.

    Stingy stretch
Their 32 runs allowed over the last 20 games marks the best 20-game stretch in Major League Baseball since the Indians themselves allowed just 28 runs from April 21 – May 14, 1968.

    High-water mark
The Indians are now 33 games over .500, their best mark since sitting 97-64 on October 2, 1999.

    Break on through
The Tribe has scored first in 19 of its last 20 games. Cleveland’s 16-game run of scoring first that begin with the current winning streak matched the club’s own mark in 2013 for the longest such streak in the majors over the past 25 seasons.

    Series world
The Indians have won six consecutive series, their longest streak since a run of seven straight series wins from August 17 – September 5, 2007.

    Playing from in front
Across this historic winning streak, the Indians have trailed for just 4.0 innings out of 180.0 total.

    Goose eggs
The Tribe has recorded seven shutouts during the winning streak. That’s more than 14 other major league teams have all season.

    September to remember
The Indians have begun the month of September with a record of 13-0, the club’s best-ever start to a calendar month and the best by any MLB team since the Minnesota Twins began June of 1991 with a record of 15-0.

    Divisional duty
The Indians are 13-0 against American League Central opponents during the streak and 7-0 against the AL East. They have beaten the Tigers six times and the White Sox four times.

    Sensational starters
Over the course of this winning streak, Tribe starting pitchers have gone 18-0 with a 1.71 ERA (24ER/126.1IP).

    Can't keep 'em down
The Indians have hit 39 home runs during the streak, while allowing just 32 total runs.

    Unsullied
Rookies Francisco Mejia and Greg Allen both made their major league debuts during the winning streak, and thus have never experienced a loss at the big league level. Both Mejia and Allen collected their first career hits and RBI during the streak, and Allen hit his first career home run.

    Frankie says relax
Over the course of this winning streak, Lindor is batting .359 (28-for-78) and leads the team in that span with nine homers, 19 RBI, and 18 runs scored.

    Santana scores
Carlos Santana has scored 15 runs during this winning streak.

    Hits, hits, Jose
Jose Ramirez has hit .391 (25-for-64) during the Tribe’s winning streak with eight homers, eight doubles, 14 runs scored and 14 RBI.

    Dandy Yandy
Yandy Diaz has started 17 of the Indians’ last 20 games, hitting .377 (20-for-53) during this winning streak with five doubles, a triple and eight RBI.

That's the beauty of the sleeper cell, he can play at a Pro Bowl level the rest of his games for all I care. But when he hears his activation code, boom... huge letdown on the field and thinks of Cleveland as home.

Activation code has to be something he wouldn't normally hear, so my guess is while playing defense for the Steelers, the code is: "That was a clean and legal hit on... "
