yeah - a ringer is putting it lightly. some of these guys need to go to vegas and beat the bookies for tons of cash as they are that good at picking games!

I wish it were that easy. Here's how picking games "straight up" works in Vegas.



If you lose money, then that's all that happens is, you lose money. BUT. If you win, Vegas takes 10% off the top of that !!! This guy doesn't bother to mention that !!!! If I bet $10.00 a game on all the games (256 games) and win 2/3 of those, I might win $300-400 dollars.... For the year !!!! Those guys in Vegas aren't stupid !!!!

 

so saints just admitted he's a ringer. 2/3 of all games. how do we compete with that record ? i know im not worthy.

 

Socal you won every pick' m contest we played last season, that makes you a ringer. My goal this season is to beat you at one of these contests. Even if I don't win the contest but beat you, I know I had a good season.

 

This is betting straight up and not vs a spread. He is just playing odds with numbers while we are playing with teams. If he put that into money he wouldn't actually be up all that much.

 

Still impressive though.

This season I am breaking out the spread sheets and kicking socal' s butt. He will be asking us to walk him out in the morning dew, after the season is over. Out to pasture or glue factory is where we are sending him.
