One guy still there I would have liked was Fidone from Nebraska. But it's not a big deal honestly. Tez Johnson and Ivey still on the board is interesting.

Just got in, got a shit ton of catching up to do.

Uniquely interesting day. Met Mr. Universe, Steven Boyer.

Straight up cool mother fucker. Spent about 40 minutes shooting the shit about all things weightlifting, hunting, and boozing. One of the most real people I have come across in a few, and took a typical workday and made it awesome.

And has become par for this weird course that life has laid out for me, meeting Steve only reinforces some shit I am going to touch on later when it comes to draft discussions.

 

As a kickoff to what will obviously be some long winded shit that I will be typing for myself, and those of you that have gotten to know me well enough to know that all of what I post here is my own opinion, what I truly believe, and coming from a place of wanting to learn more while conversing with people that I enjoy shooting the shit with...

This was a quietly epic draft, from just a first glance at what has gone down.

 

I'm going to take a few more minutes to drink down some Voodoo Ranger Juice Force IPA, read up a little, and then I will lay out my thoughts for what has gone down so far.

 

I never heard of this, but it sure sounds awesome.

Im in agreement that this draft was very interesting, quite epic and had more twists and turns than I could have ever imagined... downright dramatic most of the time and right even through the late rounds. I'd wait what seemed like it might take forever for a Vikings pick, but the action was always keeping me spellbound... so the wait dint really matter.

 

Shit is like 9.5, smooth to drink, and puts you in that mellow quickly.

By the way, Will, I'm probably going to be working in your area at the end of June / beginning of July.

We should definitely get a beer.

Wow, 9.5 is potent. I used to drink a 'High Gravity' lager, very heavy and rich, a couple/few of those tall cans was... well interesting.

 

Pretty sure that the wagon you are on would not be the wagon you rode out on if I showed up to your favorite hole in the wall with a gum band roll of $20 and a beer drinking attitude.

Off the top of my head, I remember a comment you made earlier about the Chargers. They seem to be getting out maneuvered early on. So, Chargers and if you dont care to address them, team 2 would be the Giants.

So, off tops - Most mocks had Carter as the pick. Hard to argue with, but if you put the powder and lead to my temple, I actually prefer Walker to be the combination off-ball linebacker slash pass rusher over Abdul. I expect the Falcons to be a base 3-4, so Walker on one side and Pearce on the other is a fucking crusher for ATL, but I need to see what Daboll and company have in store for Abdul. He has the quickness and the bend, but I question the attack and punch.

I'm not as big on Dart as some, so I need to see him in the preseason before I write off that pick as a loss, because that's kind of where I lean right now.

Alexander is a nice plug for the D, so regardless of where I rank him, it's a need and a fit.

I really wanted Skatt to be the back up to James Conner. I think that was the dream situation for the kid. As of right now, my thinking on his signing to NYG - Are we not sure that this is where RB careers die? I like the kid, but I'm not confident in the situation.

Mbow is a great grab in the 5th, and it answers a question that I didn't see a lot of people ask going into this process.

The 7th round picks both feel like long shots to make the NYG roster, which would make them long shots to make most rosters.
