Warming up to the Sawyer pick, they do like the Ohio State program. I am sure Cam Heyward is excited to mentor the young man.

 

Sorry. Was away from keyboard and couldn't comment. I like addressing edge depth. I addressed it late (like 6th/7th round) in a few of my mocks where I had picked up lots of extra picks. Without those extra picks, I'm a bit puzzled by the pick when we have so many higher needs (in my estimation). I'm a bit neutral on the player though. Plays hard, not all that athletic. Good starting point but I don't see a lot of upside. I didn't hear any buzz from the Steelers about him in the build-up to the draft. I'm a bit surprised. I will have to dig into him some more to see if there is something to get excited about; I will trust that the Steelers know edge rushers.
