Steelers are NOT drafting Neon Deion 2. Matter of fact, Fuck No. That is an impressive amount of work. 21. I can see Dart, I like Harmon, not sure how he gets out of round 1 26. Hairston CB, like the player, like Trey Amos better. 65. Shough, nice strategy, Giants don't force a QB they wait it out. 67. Mondon, I have him as a 4th rounder, but opinons vary. I like Georgia LBs for sure. 83. Alexander, will be good for Pittsburgh. I have gone back and forth, and have Farmer similar grade edge to Farmer, higher because of level of competition and age. Steelers prefer big schools, probably the reason they passed on Q. Mitchell. 101. Tre Harris, wow didn't think he will fall this far. 123. RJ Harvey, I like the player, bummed Tuten was off the board at 112, bigger back. Also bummed that at 124 my durable OT (never missed a game in 4 years) Jalen Travis went off the board. 151. Wohler, at least am not alone and crazy, I just see a football player, great 3 cone too. 156. Badger, I like Jaylin Layne a little better, he's a dynamic returner and offers great ST value. 185. Kendall not sure he had much interest from Pittsburgh, Walley went 196 and he came in for a visit. 229. Upton Stout, given what you was left I can see it. What about OL here, Jonah Monheim can play all 5 spots on the line.
Derrick Harmon has an undisclosed injury that may be longer term. Think that drops him out of Round 1 (He's in my top 20 of this draft) I'm not a Trey Amos fan. Better in press, but nothing else for me. Farmer vs. Alexander def. a consideration if the Steelers go QB in Round 1 I have Harris in my top 100, also doubt he falls this far. I love Hunter Wohler. I don't get the hate Badger is a real sleeper, watch out for him. Lane as a STer, for sure, I get that.
Good Intel on Harmon, add in this Too many undisciplined penalties on 2024 tape (roughing the passer, unnecessary roughness, hands to the face) What is you thoughts on Walter Nolen. I think it's wrong to pigeon hole him as a 4-3 IDL only, I think his first step is like Javon Hargrave. I have him ahead of Grant but I would not hate Grant, Steelers have to stop Baltimore from running them over. What if Will Johnson or Nick Emmanwori are there at 21, the DT board is hit hard pre-21, and someone moved up with Denver to jump Pittsburgh for Dart? I really think they like the SC Safety, he's an unicorn. Would you go DB or RB or possibly WR. RB being more of a need with DL and QB. Re Wahler: What Steeler fans forget, they have schools they like. Georgia and Wisconsin to be more specific.
I’m with you on Nolen! Any of the DL at value (Nolan, Harmon, Grant) fine for me Steeler wise. Johnson would depend on medical, could be in the wheelhouse. Emmanwori would surprise me. id stick to DL myself
I think I mocked Harmon at 31 in my mock but that isn't accounting for teams trading back into the 1st for a QB, OT or RB or something. Harmon was the last name I had to consider. I probably should have gone Barron or something.
Sadly I read 20+ mocks a day, and run countless sims, only post a few of them, well because they fall on deaf ears, waste of my time to post them all. Half the time Harmon is gone at 21, so maybe he is out of the equation all together. I think they passed on Quinyon Mitchell because of the MAC, Tomlin really sticks to BIG TIME programs in the first few rounds. He was top of my board last year at 20, had him really high. And we won't know until the fall if Fantanu was the right pick.
I am thinking that team is The Rams or The Frigging Eagles, the rich get richer. Try throwing on that Eagles D if Johnson is healthy.
Hey last time we took an injured CB that was supposed to be top 10 he never really recovered and was a bust.
So Dart went late round 1 and Sanders is a day 2 pick? Sooooo Swamy says!! Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while!! Haha
