I am not 100% sure how well he fits the Colts usual H/W/S preferences. But the 2 things I took away from reading about our new DC and his tendencies is first, that Anarumo likes to build from the DBs down. And second, that he believes in having a space eater who can handle doubles, to free up the LB's and DB's to flow and make tackles. Caldwell handles doubles quite well. Weighing in at 6'2" and 332, he has natural leverage, with good hip sink and the ability to control the man across from him. He actually moves quite well for his size to boot. I think he might be a great spell off the bench for current stud Grover Stewart while he refines his technique. If Liam Coen wants to establish a quality run game in our division, and the Titans want to run to protect a new QB, this guy is part of the response. I really do like his tape.
