This is actually pretty wild since they said they were only expecting 8-10 prospects to be there live. I am assuming this means that a large number of the top picks are turning them down.

Shedeur has one thing going for him... His Last Name!! I think he would be a late 2nd or 3rd rounder if he wasn't the "son of an NFL great." He is a good player and will make a team but not being under Daddy's thumb will hinder him. Dart is an interesting question, he was never a true stand out QB mediocre in a pro style conference. He is a project, not a day 1 starter. It would be a Jordan Love situation if he goes 1st round. Outside of that, I see day 2 prospect.
My immediate reaction to Milroe being asked to hang in Green Bay for the first round was that Pittsburgh is going to draft him. After thinking about it a little more... Yep, still feels like the Steelers.
Well, they've battled Jackson 9 times over the past 6 seasons. I guess they might want to jump on that success. I'm not exactly sure why though, he is 3-5 against Pittsburgh in the regular season. I didn't believe Jackson would hold up in the NFL and he proved me wrong.. in 2025, I don't believe Milroe will hold up in the NFL, we will have to wait and see. If the Steelers don't draft him, it seems the Browns could be interested, which goes against everything Stefanski stands for in a QB, so maybe they are planning on him being replaced in the near future. I know everyone is making the connection to Tommy Rees and how Jalen Milroe strived when Reese was the OC at Alabama... Well, he didn't necessarily strive, he just had better passing stats when he was there. Rushing wise, he actually had better stats last season. If Stefanski's system is really being put back into action in 2025, then Shedeur Sanders and Will Howard are the two QBs you should be focused on for his system, not Jalen Milroe like the media is reporting. The Steelers though? I don't see the correlation between Aaron Rodgers and Jalen Milroe. These two couldn't be more opposite. If anything, why not the Ravens? Why not have two like QBs in the room, just in case Jackson goes down. If it is the most important position, why not have a clone? Are the Ravens hurting at any one position that they can't afford to use a first round pick on a QB? Jackson can keep doing what he's doing for another 5-6 years, tops. That's when RBs lose their shit. Why not groom a guy for the next 5 years under a rookie deal?
I'm not looking at any connections between Rodgers, a system, or other crumbs and clues that would be of that nature for the Milroe connection. I'm looking at the interest in the player from the head coach and GM of the team. The Steelers took Milroe out to dinner before his pro day. There is a genuine interest here from Tomlin and Khan.
Every year, QBs get elevated.. I don't see any way Milroe is a first round draft pick, but looking back over history, there have been crazier rises into the first. (edit) We should do an audit of the crazy QBs taken way too high and where that GM is today.

On another note, with all of these QBs being talked about borderline first round picks. Why isn't Will Howard in the discussion at all? He is the odd man out. I predict he is the 4th QB taken and will be gone somewhere in the 2nd round. The only way he isn't the next QB after Dart is if someone really does think Milroe is the next Jackson.
