3 of the mock drafts on the nfl network, including DJ, have us drafting a running back, 1 thinks Will Johnson slips to us, don’t see that happening, and the rest are saying WR, with 2 of those saying Egbuka

    how many rounds?

I did see the mocks, Omarian Hampton is a good RB prospect, but with this deep class I would say pass. I have been getting Rocket Sanders on day 3, I really like some of the SC players.
A new guy to consider at 21, Shemar Stewart. For a guy who is 6-5 280 he runs like a Linebacker, and his first step will separate him from Nic Scourton, my humble two freiking cents. Depot has him rated mid second, I strongly disagree, this cat goes in the first round. He will blow up the combine and people will say, who is this Dude. Stewart is also 21 years old, he will add muscle and mature, get a younger player with less tread on the tires is a good concept. I hope Darius Alexander doesn't blow up the combine, I would love Pittsburgh to grab him at 83. Again let's look at the Super Bowl that game was won in the trenches. It also helps they had Slay and Mitchell blanketing the WRs. I will run a simulator every day until I get it right. The buzz at the combine is going to be Abdul Carter's stress fracture, but he is a top 5 pick, no sense even discussing him much if at all.

How the hell did that TE fall to me, Dunno, I actually passed on Alexander and got a player with a mid second round grade, mid fourth. This is not happening, because Arroyo at his size gets separation and will move the sticks. Also a willing blocker. Speaking of willing blockers in the WR class. You are talking Egbuka, Ayomanor, and Bech.

Anyone on here? I am telling you I am POUNDING the table for Shemar Stewart. Second mock in a row I took the explosive TE from Miami. I think he is the 3rd best TE in the draft in a strong class. He is so talented he may go much higher than the national pundits predict. Is he a need, no, but a Weapon for Fields or whoever they roll out in 2025. Speaking of which, I have yet to use a second day pick on QB once Allar and Beck decided to return. Will Howard seems to be a popular pick, for me he would not be a top 20 QB and would be a waste of a 3rd round pick. Not sure where the Shock Master goes, but he did get the ball to Brooks on a regular basis. The issue with Ja.Corey Brooks is he is pedestrian. The downside on Shough is he is 26, not Brandon Weeden old, (That one was for Lyman) but def already in his prime and what is his ceiling? I am also preferring a QB minimum 6-3 but taller QB can see over the line. 2026 will be better class, and I will be at this draft in Pittsburgh, hopefully wearing a Kiper Sucks T shirt. And you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see Arch Manning going #1 overall. Who knows his uncles might be at the draft, seems like Peyton and Eli are regular guys who if you ran into them and were not obnoxious, you could probably get a fist pump with. As a Steeler fan Eli will always be a favorite of mine, the man who beat Brady twice. Who the hell is our starting QB, you cannot keep Fields and Wilson, who IMHO wilted down the stretch, looked old and tired I prefer Fields for the record. I actually think Wilson migrates to Las Vegas to reunite with Pete Carrol.

Just tuned into NFL network, they are touting Stewart, basically Cody Kessler is pushing him, and Mante Teo' is pushing for Alexander, NICE.

He's good to go, no surgery required. He was examined at the Combine for what thats worth.

lol, your angst for the Buckeyes is obvious. Id personally take him over the top 2 that are projected to go first round... lol, my scarlet and grey sunglasses might be a factor.

There isn't a lot of fits this draft. The 2 RB I like not love. I do like. Egbuka is solid but Golden looks more explosive. Then for me Harmon looks so much better than Williams. There is no spot for Sawyer or Tuimalo they are both tweeners. I do like Burke but I don't like Hancock, he reminds me of Elvis Patterson for the Giants, nicknamed "Toast".

Derrick Harmon may have just run himself into a top 15 pick, 4.95 at 313 lbs. The draft comp they came up with for HWS is Chris Jones. I really like the Underwear Olympics. But it's a lot of time to devote, 5 hours a day. Yikes.

Nick Emmanwori jumped out of the building today 43.5" vertical. Deep TE class, but the top of the class skipped the drills, disappointed. Mason Taylor ran the gauntlet and never even wavered off the yard line. That shows you concentration and the ability to run a route. They said he put a jugs machine in his mom's garage and the way he snagged balls it showed up today.

Mason Taylor is TE4 for me. The kid is a legit pass catcher with arguably the best hands in the class.

So we got the RB and WR today, anyone got any predictions? I think Restrepo runs slower than desireable, and Tre Harris will run in the 4.4s. Yesterday not only did Darien Porter run well, his 6.71 cone is outstanding. Tough to find CBs with 33 inch arms. The knock on him is experience, he's a former WR.

That was my Underwear Olympic Influenced Draft. I had to throw in a RB and a WR to make it legit.

Saw the Nick Emmanwori combine. He's got all the tools. I immediately thought about you and, yup, bites is gonna mock this guy.

What sucks is we didn't get to see the top of the class perform. The weigh in winner was Arroyo from Miami, built like a brick shithouse. Taylor was taken 80th by the Colts in the simulator. At 83 I had to take Alexander out of Toledo. The Iowa State CB is impressive, but very raw in terms of experience.
