@Campbell when you have a chance just wanted to let you know I put out a contract offer for Antoine Winfield S $6,000,000 3yr On wednesday at 11:54am Thanks
Friendly Reminder: You will need cap space to sign rookies and in-season free agency. Please keep track of your spending throughout free agency.
If Im thinking correctly (which is a gamble), the bid on DB, Antoine Winfield on Wednesday at 11:54 AM is correct and I believe it is... On Thursday at 11:59 PM that bid was won by Silver&black ?
The bid on Antoine Winfield (S), 3 years, $6,000,000 by Silver&black was posted at 1:54 PM on Wednesday.
The clock reset on Wright due to my fuck up. The new timer will have started when I posted to Minnow about the correction.
I’m still waiting to finish out my day, but Will started updating the board. Please post any possible corrections for Will or I to double check this evening.
@Willie thanks for verifying Couple of questions 1. Can I cut during free agency? I have (moody k) 2. Since this is my first dynasty league, what happens after this year? We are at the 3 year mark, what happens next? I was trying to set my free agency up for future years, hope i did this correctly.
Take a look at your contract page here You may need to click on the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet S&B. This lists all of your current contracts and how many years they have left on their current contracts. All of the free agents you are signing go into how ever many years you are writing the contract for from this free agency year forward. Also, pay very close attention to your "Available FA Cash". This is what is currently available under the current year cap. You will need enough to fill out the legal roster, including signing your draft picks. If you cut a player, the penalty is to the right. Hope this helps.
*** Also, when planning for the future, any money under the salary cap, rolls over to the following year. That is why some teams have more cap space than others. So, use it all up now, you might not have much in the future without expiring contracts.
Remember - Only 20% gets rolled over now. Not the full amount of retained money. From the rules book: Also - For everyone to view: Rookie wage scale for 2025 Round 1 - $6,415,200 Round 2 - $5,832,000 Round 3 - $5,248,800 Round 4 - $4,665,600 Round 5 - $4,082,400 Round 6 - $3,499,200 Round 7 - $2,916,000
@IrishDawg42 thank you! I really had to overspend on a couple of players to try and keep roster going for future years and add some youth. Welcome to the life of a real nfl GM
Yep, you may cut during this phase of the offseason. The players association will come to new terms with the commission for another set of 3 years. All rookie wage scales and other contract values (nothing involving currently signed contracts) get reviewed and updated for the next 3 seasons. Basically - I review where we are at as a league and make necessary changes to financial rules, based on continuing to work towards the most competitive structure possible.
