Two people have died in the Japanese city of Yokohama after a teenage girl jumped to her death from a shopping centre, hitting a pedestrian below.

The 17-year-old high school student jumped from a building in a crowded shopping district, hitting a 32-year-old woman who was out with her friends on Saturday evening.

The two were immediately taken to hospital around 18:00 local time (09:00 GMT), where the girl died an hour later. The woman also died soon after.

It's not clear why she might have killed herself, though more people under the age of 18 in Japan kill themselves on 1 September - just ahead of the new school term - than on any other day, according to official statistics.

A Chinese zoo has admitted that the pandas in their exhibits were, in fact, “painted dogs.”

According to the New York Post, visitors at the Shanwei Zoo realized they were being bamboozled when the so-called pandas began panting and barking. Pandas are native to China and an international symbol of the country.

In one visitor’s video, one of the “pandas” was visibly panting while resting on a rock in a fence, while another clip had a panda with a long tail strolling about.

A man in Madison, Wisconsin, was arrested after he threw a beer bottle at a bartender who changed music in the bar from Black Sabbath to a Christmas tune, according to police.

Officers came to Farm Tavern Bar at 1701 Moorland Road just before 4 p.m. last Thursday over a report of a disturbance and determined the suspect left the bar, police said in a release posted Monday.

An officer spoke to many patrons of the bar and identified the suspect as Christopher Gamboeck, calling him intoxicated and violent, according to police. The 33-year-old was upset because the bartender changed the music in the bar from Black Sabbath to Christmas music.

Gamboeck “chugged his glass bottle of Budweiser beer, and slammed it down on the counter,” according to the release. He threw a bottle of beer in the direction of the female bartender’s head after he yelled expletives at her, the release stated.

Other patrons in the bar prevented Gamboeck from going behind the counter as he circled the bar with his fists clenched, according to the release. His uncle eventually intervened and directed Gamboeck to the door.

He left the bar, but pulled down a Christmas tree and broke several delicate ornaments, according to police.

Police came to his residence and he rushed toward officers, the release said. He was threatened with a Taser before he was taken to custody. He said gender-based obscenities toward a female officer before he was taken to Dane County Jail.

Spending money in Foreign countries not designed to help people in need, (plays, trans surgeries, comic books, Sesame Street, tourism) Reckless spending in general. Sex change on minors. Paying for illegals to live in 4 star hotels and not being able to prosecute them in designated cities if they commit a crime. No drilling in The Gulf of Mexico. Easy fix, drill in the Gulf of America.

On Elon Musk and DOGE. He is doing it for free, and it was part of the campaign, it's not like it was not spelled out ahead of time. And I don't agree with him being pardoned. Anything he did while in position should be open to investigation. Just like anyone else. But the reason for the pardons to him and others were just that....protections against political revenge.

 

How about the Hunter Biden Pardon? Why would Trump need political revenge if Biden didn't use the Justice system to go after his political opponent?
