Your high ass passes calm down why do keep trying to run the ɓall they need an OC KOC playcalling what a joke that phantom facemask call
I don't not want.Sam Darnold back he's been exposed again he can't handle playoff pressure just another classic Capt Kirk choke job ( sigh )
He's not ready for Prime Time Sam Darnold KOC your a good coach but your play calling was weird you need an OC
It's the only game that isn't a large spread. Basically giving the Bills home field and that's it. It averages to about 1.75 points BTW, not the 3 everyone says.
The Vikings better not keep Sam Darnold it was like I was having a nasty flashback of Capt Kirk reg.season he was good...playoffs he just crumbled like a cookie in Prime Time
Im thinking the last 2 games may have made the door for JJ McCarthy fly wide open... wide enough to let Darnold pass the other way. Might as well see what JJ can bring and let Darnold do his FA thing.
I'm not sold on him for the longterm, but Kirk had many more opportunities than San and didn't produce in crunch time. I'd love to see Darnold find a home for a while and see what happens. He's clearly progressed. At least to some degree.
It’s likely going to swing on whether or not the QB needy teams at the top have high grades on the passers in this rookie class. Get a couple teams in on a bid and he might end up with a 3 year deal that reflects the entirety of his 2024 campaign.
Id hate to be the Vikings GM at this time. I cant figure out Sam Darnold, JJ McCarthy is unproven, but you have to have QB's on the roster next year. Speaking of the 'rookie class' of QB's, there doesnt seem to be the hype this time around like previously. Is it really not that good? Or is it too early for the hype train? And lets not forget, KOC needs a contract too. Kwesi has work to do.
You could be right, but these last two games, imho, crumbled the foundation he built up throughout the regular season. I’ve always felt his ceiling was a Baker type contract. I think, had he won, or at least played valiantly and the Vikes lose on a last second FG or something, he could have been looking at a 2-3 year at $35/per. I think his ceiling now is more along the lines of 2 years 15-20/per.
Please if Brian Flores going to be a HC which i think he will be let it be out of NFC let him go to the Jacksonville Jaguars in AFC or the Bengals and not the Bears a division rival in the NFC North the Lions and the Packers are already a pain in my butt hope that doesn't happen
Don't care about there damn record the Bears just gives the Vikings fits it is WAR when they play these guys
Of course, the headline from that Vikings loss will be Sam Darnold because people can't wait to talk about how much money he just cost himself. And its true he didnt have a good game, worse still than the statline would suggest imo. However the real story here, allbeit a less flashy one, should be that we witnessed example 1,000,000 that its almost impossible to play QB to a high level if the O-Line is DOA. And the Vikings was. Darnold was under duress the entire night and its just not gonna fly. The difference wasn't Darnold, he's played mostly that way all year. He holds the ball too long looking for a chunk play, but frankly he delivered a LOT of chunk plays this season, i didnt see the media who are slaughtering him now complaining about it back then. The reason he could play this way was because he had a very good O-Line in front of him and THATS the difference, left to right and everything in between they got beaten like a drum in that game. Christian Darrisaw was a huge miss. Brian O'Neil, who is a former pro bowler, was the biggest disappointment of the night imo, he played terrible right from the 2nd offensive snap of the game when he got blown away by a Byron Young bull rush. 9 SACKS!! You can't play QB behind that, believe me i know i've seen enough Bears QBs fail at it. The Rams committed EIGHT more penalties in that game and lost in TOP. That would normally produce at least a pretty close game. They lost by 3 TDs. Cos they were -2 TO differential and they couldn't protect the QB. As for Darnold, yeah i guess this has cost him a $150-180mil contract, if you thought that was ever on the table. When we talked about this like 6weeks ago i name checked Geno Smith, i'd be surprised if he couldn't still get that kind of money. The Vikings were a tag candidate but thats harder to see now.
