Steeler Depot said we should trade Tomlin for a first and something a little more. If we could get one of those teams in the top five it would be too much to pass up

The grass is always greener on the other side. I guess being stuck in mediocrity for a decade gets some discussions going.

Product of the Georgia System, stud OL, RB's and throwing to All world TE Brock Bowers, who if it weren't for Jayden Daniels could have been Offensive Rookie of the Year.
I'm liking the Penn State OL and Allen/Singleton to grind a win out. Good Gosh though Riley Mills looks like he's 16 years old to me.

I’m a big Singleton fan. True workhorse who,for whatever reason, never got a big volume. Perfect Steelers pick in the 3rd.

    So who
Shit the bed ? Allar threw the pick but Franklin is the MFIC . I
Got 1 horse left in this race , Texas. Can’t stand Ohio State or ND

Allar didn’t play great at all, but the interception was ultimately what cost them the game.

There you go Stlcrtn, got Singleton to replace Najee.
4 guys for the line of scrimmage.
Took a pair of WR I can live with, you have to go with what the simulator offers.
Barryn Sorrel, will be interesting to see how he does against the OTs of Ohio State tonight.
Missed out on CB, but I looked at Free agency and their are options. They generally suck at drafting CBs anyhow. JPJ was more of an anomoly than anything. (Smokin' Joe Burnette, RIcardo Coughclough, Justin Layne, Senquez Gholston, Dorian Grant, Curtis Brown..... etc..) I will give a push to Cam Sutton and Cortez Allen. Cowher had some good ones Ike Taylor, and Deshea Townsend. Keep going back and they took Chad Scott to replace Rod Woodson. Hindsight is 20/20 they could have let him play Safety.
Charles Grant is interesting, a little light, but tremendous feet and level of competition will be sorted out at the Senior Bowl. Just to shake shit up, I passed on Monheim, cannot keep locking into one guy every friggin mock.
Jordan Burch has been on our radar for a while, that protypical size you cannot find easily and I matched him up with his teammate Harmon.
A poster early on mentioned Jimmy Horn, I am guessing it was Steelroc from memory. (trust me it's an educated guess, I rarely go that far back, it was in the fall of 2023 I think)

Yeah, Hero Ball doesn't work. You are playing for the National Championship, throw it in the dirt. James Franklin cannot win a big game, seems like a decent guy, like him more than Douchebag Ryan Day.
Note on that game, How fucking good is Abdul Carter playing with one arm and totally impacting the game. He is #2 overall on Mel Crappers board, (heard that during the broadcast).

Nah I think they’re looking for bigger WR with CA III on the roster
However a thicker WR vertically challenged who might be a good pro: Xavier Restrepo

be happy we didn’t draft Quentin Johnston he's looking like a bust with all the drops

That's a big list and it's spot on. Meanwhile, the Steelers will draft one of those positions, but they'll throw pennies into the FA market and they need to do that to a reasonable degree.

We all applauded the FO when they got Wilson and Fields for a song, only to realize the Steelers got what they paid for.

In the end the Steelers are like the Raiders, Browns, or Bears. They're stuck in a land of make believe, in which, firing the coach or picking a scrap heap QB is going to vault them to the promised land. The Steelers win more, but in the end, they're the same.

Except they won’t fire the coach even when he’s consistently stagnant at just making the playoffs or no losing seasons!!
