Where was this Buckeyes team vs Michigan? The way the game started, I didnt think this was going to go well, but the last 2 passes from Will Howard changed things quickly, especially the Jeremiah Smith catch in the endzone. Hope the 'Orange Invasion' enjoyed their stay. Now the Buckeyes get #1 Oregon. A bowl of Bucks and Ducks. Oughta be fun, right?
Glad there is some football on today. Between Christmas shopping and working my ass off and driving family everywhere... Im glad to sit down and watch a game between two teams Im not at all familiar with (Coastal and UTSA). Go Huskies! (230PM ET)... gotta root for the MAC. Thanks again @Lyman for the one-stop place to get the sched.
OT #5... Toledo has run onto the field twice now thinking they won the game, only to get a call against them, funny stuff. Oops, Pitt just took the lead 46-44
Finally a final... Toledo 48, Pitt 46, 6 OT's Nearly a 5 hour game and I do not like these OT rules... Its really just not right, but Im an admitted old school guy.
Texas, Penn State, and Georgia will almost certainly absolutely roll. Ohio State / Oregon might be fun. I was hoping this season would prove me wrong, and show that we needed the expanded playoffs, but I certainly don't think that's what we're going to see.
I actually see trouble for Texas and PSU, they have to travel. Not sure which Georgia shows up and ND isnt no slouch. Im not sure what this means, Im slow... but the expanded Playoffs give teams a chance and narrows down the bitching from programs who get hosed. Too many teams to not have expanded Playoffs in my opinion, but I may be misunderstanding you.
