His 'pot-o-gold' prowess may be ending... He hasnt come through, except for robbing bank accounts. I really doubt he can bilk someone next year after his showing this year.
Justin Fields returns to limited practice; DeShon Elliott, Donte Jackson full participants Wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) returned to a full practice Monday in the Steelers’ walk-through. He was one of 11 changes to the team’s practice report. Only Ben Skowronek (hip) and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (knee) remained the same as Sunday’s estimated report. Both remained non-participants. Backup quarterback Justin Fields (abdominal) returned to limited work Monday after missing Sunday. Safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring), cornerback Donte Jackson (back), linebacker Tyler Matakevich (knee) and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin) had full participation Monday after being estimated as limited a day earlier. Texans claim WR Diontae Johnson off waivers from Ravens The Houston Texans, in need of receiving help after Tank Dell's season-ending knee injury, claimed wide receiver Diontae Johnson off waivers Monday. Earlier Monday, the team announced that Dell suffered a torn ACL and dislocated kneecap in the Texans' 27-19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. The Los Angeles Chargers were the only other team to place a waiver claim on Johnson, a source told ESPN's Field Yates. The Ravens waived Johnson on Friday, ending his drama-filled seven weeks with the team. The Ravens suspended him for one game after he refused to play in a Dec. 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles and then he was excused from team activities last week. ESPN
In regard to Watson's injury... per; ESPN "There's some concern there, certainly," Packers coach Matt LaFleur said after Monday's game. "We're going to get some more testing done tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have an answer for you tomorrow." Watson returned to play seven more snaps, including four in the third quarter, before he left the game for good. He remained on the Packers' sideline for the rest of the game. "It definitely hurt right away, but it felt like it was good enough to go back in, so I went back in and it was feeling all right," Watson said. "But it was just kind of lingering a little bit and I just couldn't play the type of football I wanted to play, so I just had to shut it down."
Unsurprising. The lump coming out the side of his leg said obvious dislocated knee. Gruesome injury. All the more galling for the fact he got taken out by a PS promotee teammate playing his first game.
According to NFL Media Research, the Vikings and the Lions are the first teams in NFL history to enter Week 17 with 13-plus wins and not have an outright lead in a division.
Christian Watson has a knee bruise, could play this week Packers wide receiver Christian Watson hurt his knee on Monday night and head coach Matt LaFleur said that the wideout would have tests done to discover the severity of the injuries on Tuesday. LaFleur offered an update on Watson’s condition at his Tuesday press conference and it was a relatively positive one. Now that would be very interesting cause the Bears do have talent....the NFL on Netflix is this permanent?
No telling what the NFL will do. Wasnt but a short time ago the NFL said no to football on Christmas if it were a mid-week game, but here we are. The money talks and rules the world, so if the League can make money and they will, football on Christmas is here to stay... whether its Netflix or not, I cant answer that.
Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns in the win, including one to tight end Travis Kelce that accounted for the team’s final score. It was the 77th touchdown catch of Kelce’s career, which makes him the franchise’s all-time leader in that category. Kelce also became the 15th player in NFL history with 1,000 catches and he ended the day with eight catches for 84 yards. Chiefs clinched #1 seed and homefield advantage.
This Ravens and Texans thing might turn into a ballgame... I was wondering if it was going to be another one-sider. Damion Pierce ought to get the ball more often. He showed some tough running coming out of the endzone.
