You know, the cfp bye week part is crazy looking at the teams besides Georgia. Boise St, Arizona St and Oregon would have been your four teams under the old system. Georgia and Oregon have both been there but the other two would be teams that people would think don’t belong. I’m glad they went to the 12 team bracket. Should just make it 16 with no bye.
Tomorow, December 14th, I believe Western Michigan, not Central, is playing South Alabama in the 'Salute to Veterans Bowl', aint bitchin or being critical, just saying. I love the MAC and just noticed that. CMU only won 4 games and I dont think they are Bowl eligible.
And screw Michigan for having centrals westerns and easterns... are they not capable of knowing the name of a city that has a NCAA school? Buncha dumbasses up north, or northerns!
Odd, the web site I used (one of the many) listed Central Michigan. It still does. But I agree with you that it should read Western Michigan as Central isn't even "bowl eligible". The next update will have this fixed.
Too bad the schedulers for the NCAA and the NFL cant get together. A pair of college football playoff games will be played, starting at noon ET (SMU-Penn State) and 4:00 p.m. ET (Clemson-Texas). A pair of NFL games also will be played, starting at 1:00 p.m. ET (Texans-Chiefs) and 4:30 p.m. ET (Steelers-Ravens).
Earlier today, Ohio beat Jacksonville State, 30-27 Tonight's Indiana vs ND game starts at 8PM ET in South Bend... the first CFP game. Looks like a cold one around 32 degrees with some flurries.
The Tulane Green Wave are playing Florida at the moment. 3-0 FLA, end 1st. For some inexplicable reason, the Green Wave wear powder blue uniforms.
Things get tougher for Notre Dame who will advance to face Georgia in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 Here are the times and broadcast channels for todays CFP games.
