At least there won’t be a conversation about keeping Thomas Brown or anybody on the staff. Full reset.
Remember that game in SF in the 90s when Cade McNown and the Bears offense never even got past the 50 yard line the entire game and the Bears got absolutely embarrassed?
The deep ball has been on since the end of the first drive, they obvs don't believe the Bears will go for it. Gotta say Brown is calling a really bad game here. The O/Williams looked better the last couple weeks with Brown calling plays from upstairs. Its why i would've made Washington HC and done NOTHING to distract Brown from Caleb. Big picture it prob doesnt really matter cos this guy aint getting the HC gig, but its obvs they've put too much on Brown's plate here. In typical Bears fashion they've managed to take something that had started to go kinda right and F it right back up again.
Crazy we are almost certainly going to finish 4-13. Poles will have a record of 14-37 in 3 seasons as GM. This is Matt Millen level.
Given the midweek presser, this, and the rest of the schedule, i still think there's every chance they fire Poles at the end of the season.
We've had a lot of bad losses in SF. The 2012 Kapernick game. 2003 season opener when we thought Kordell Stewart was the QB solution and lost 49-10. Plenty of blowouts in the 80s and 90s, especially in the playoffs.
Hey guys, I just got back from the hockey tournament. Then I turned on the stream, wtf is happening here? The 49ers have been reeling, this was the most winnable game the rest of the way. What the short of this game so far, outside of the obvious that the Bears suck?
Not just fans, but local media too, there was a huge segment on Hoge and Jahns. I was thinking they would pull one out somewhere, but I cannot see them winning any game on the schedule, short of an "any given sunday" situation.
Everyone is bad on offense. D and coaching staff are unaware that George Kittle is a TE on the Niners,
You can’t run an offense where half or more of your throws start at or behind the line of scrimmage that’s just not an nfl offense
