If, Day loses again to Michigan, at home... he better be fired immediately. If he's trailing at the half... fire him right there at the game. Well Hell, even if he wins, just fire him!
Georgia pulls out epic win in 8-overtime thriller, all but clinch spot in College Football Playoff Georgia needed more than 60 minutes to avoid being upset - they also needed more than seven overtimes. Finally, when it was all said and done, Georgia took home a 44-42 victory over their in-state rival Georgia Tech in eight overtimes. It was the second-most overtimes in FBS history, one shy of LSU and Penn State from 2021. Georgia trailed 17-0 at halftime, and even trailed by two touchdowns with just over five minutes left in regulation. But after scoring a touchdown, they recovered a fumble and then scored another touchdown to force overtime. Nothing worked for either team, as passes fell incomplete and runs were stopped - the new overtime rules make teams alternate two-point attempts from the third overtime on. But finally, in the eighth overtime, after stopping the Yellow Jackets, Nate Frazier ran into the end zone to end the instant classic. Georgia improved to 10-2 on the season; having already clinched a spot in the SEC title game last week, this victory all but ensured a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff. Even with a loss in that contest, it probably will not be enough to knock out the Bulldogs. It was also the 31st straight home victory for Georgia, who have not lost three games in a season since the 2018 season - but their third loss that year was the Sugar Bowl. They have not lost three games before bowl games since 2016. FOX
Moments after Michigan shocked No. 2 Ohio State 13-10 for their fourth straight rivalry victory, players from both teams broke out in fisticuffs at midfield. Wolverines defensive tackle Mason Graham was being interviewed by the broadcast when a fracas broke out behind him. Michigan players attempted to plant their flag at midfield and Ohio State players appeared to storm at them to try and prevent them from doing it. After things settled down for a moment, Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer ran at a Michigan player and ripped the flag off the pole, setting off a second round of fighting. Players once again went at each other and had to be separated by staff and security. Some police on the field appeared to use pepper spray, according to 247Sports Brandon Marcello. Two Michigan players and a photographer were seen rubbing their faces afterwards. Police moved to midfield to separate the two teams.
PSU cruising, so the Buckeyes wont even get to play in the BIG10 Championship. Most top 25 teams doing what they are supposed to do, but Miami on the road in Syracuse is in trouble.
I wonder why only Michigan players got pepper sprayed. From the video I saw, it wasn't a one-sided affair. I'm filing some grievance or another, if I'm Michigan's AD.
I didnt catch that. Michigan should know better than to plant a flag in the Shoe... thats total BS and they got what they deserved. They won, fair and square, but what they did was uncalled for and poor sportsmanship on their part.
Ohio State sucks and the flag was a good thing. Don’t want the flag try beating Michigan in your lifetime.
Im watching the SEC Championship between Georgia and Texas, 6-3, Horns late 2nd quarter. BIG10 Championship tonight also with PSU out west vs the unbeaten Ducks. Thats 2 really good games.
Moore for the Longhorns got a lick in on Beck as he was attempting a pass just as the half was expiring... Beck is banged up. 6-3 at the half. Defensive plays galore, but still an exciting game.
