He does but the constant breakdown of the offensive line ain’t helping plays are dead before he even completes his drop back constantly can’t develop a QB in that environment
Just like every week. Any kind of game plan out the window. Throw some shit against the wall and see if it sticks. QB is waiting to get sacked everyone he drops back. This is how you destroy a QB.
If Waldron is calling anything outside of 3 step drops the rest of the game he doesn’t understand what he is seeing
The timeless argument for Bears fans. There's no doubt he has the worst OL in the league, a brainless OC, and overrated WRs who don't get open. But goddamn he still looks awful.
It’s not Williams fault but it doesn’t matter if you’re not going to change anything. You cannot take a QB number 1 and expect him to save your franchise on his own. He has great traits that if handled correctly can lead to big things. They expect this kid to come in and be Brady day one.
Eventually we will start seeing college QBs pull an Eli Manning and refuse to sign with us. That's really the only realistic expectation to have going forward.
Too much talent to be this bad complain about Caleb all you want….there are countless guys on the field with tons of experience phoning it in on every play
Bears fan consistently see 8 or 9 guys fail to do their jobs on offensive plays and then come to the conclusion a new QB is what we need and unfortunately that’s also how our GMs tend to run the team too
For as meh as Trubisky was…..at no point was he the worst thing about the offense he played in Neither was Foles. Neither was Dalton. Fields was far from the biggest problem during his time as Bears QB. And now we rinsed and repeated and here we are with a dog shit offense and pretty soon the word bust is gonna start getting tossed around. meanwhile guys like Gerald Everett don’t know how to engage blockers and all the talent in the world at receiver can’t get open
