I wonder if any of the coaching staff rewatched last week's game. It should be burned into their brains. Full accountability. Hey Bears how about (pronounced aboot) some tasty bird meat for dinner tonight? OHMYGOD I get to watch the game this afternoon!!! GO BEARS!
Borom to start at LT. Pryor and Shelton playing again. If its me i give it 1Q and if Williams is under constant duress i pull him out of there cos im not ruining the best chance this franchise has ever had in his rookie season. Of course, no one on the Bears sideline will be thinking this way cos they are all idiots. Also no one seems to be talking about it, but i'd say the alarm bells should officially be ringing with regards to Brisker. Is that 5 or 6weeks he's now missed with a concussion?! Thats bad. Like Tua bad. Have to wonder how much football he has left in him. Poles will prob hand him a new contract in the offseason.
I mentioned it last week when Tua returned after 6 weeks from his 3rd concussion. Brisker now has about 3 more weeks based on Tua's absence, and he I believe is in a contract year as well, which sucks for him for sure. Kyler Gordon has practiced this week I hope he's back this week he can be a difference maker with pressure.
Larry Borom starting at left tackle. Just dumb that we knew he was ass since 2019 and he’s still here. I’d rather see if Jake Curhan has anything to bring to the table. Im no “OL guru” like our genius GM, but what was the point of trading for Ryan Bates if you’re not going to start him? He’s practiced this week, but isn’t activate. Tyrique Stevenson got benched for last week. Khalil Herbert officially allowed to seek a trade now. Got a feeling a must win/easy win is gonna get fucked up sideways today but at least one of GB/Det will lose.
Apparently Stevenson pulled himself out of practice this week when he found out he was taking a demotion this week. Not the way to handle it.
I honestly am fully expecting a total meltdown shit show on the field today. Bears haven't lost in Arizona in a very long time. I think we are all gonna be pissed at the result of this one, honestly.
He pulled himself out of practice? Lol, these guys have so little respect for this coaching staff. Anyone with even 1 ball would tell Stevenson he's not starting the Patriots game either after a stunt like that. If he wants to take it further and start earning fines for this crap then go right ahead. Its your bank account.
Glazer made the initial report. Some Bears beat reporters added the context that he came back to practice and made things right. Whatever the case….Flus is losing this team.
I'm a fool because I have the slightest amount of hope for this team because for the most part (Stevenson notwithstanding) players seem to get it and know what needs to be done to win, no greater example being the rookie Caleb all the way to veterans like Byard and Kmet. Flus is going to be responsible for a couple more losses on his own, we know it and need to accept it. But maybe the players themselves can overcome the lack of leadership and accountability from the coaching staff and still make something of this season.
I could definitely see that happening. I can also see the players gritting out a tough road win. But I am leaning towards the shit show given the state of the OL coming in
Also no one seems to be talking about it, Everton, this is an absolute shocker ..........The Saints beat the Toffees 1-0 yesterday........I did not expect that and if Southampton can get on a roll and climb the ladder.
With Sweat out, time to find out if Dexter can be a game breaker or if he’s just opportunistic because the qb is holding the ball too long.
